Why Ron Paul can defeat Obama for the Presidency with the Black vote

A mighty big one. Whether one is a supporter of the president or not, Ron Paul is a ontologically and existentially a joke.

I'd put my money on John McCain doing a better job of benefitting African Americans than Ron Paul would.   In fact, I think ol' Ron is probably the ONLY person in America who takes himself seriously!!  Everyone else knows better.

Problem is WillyWill3, Ron Paul won't fix black unemployment rate either, not if he wants to keep his job. Frankly no one really cares to do anything about Black unemployment, it wouldn't be profitable. Keeping black people poor, underemployed, unemployed and in prison brings billions of dollars to the already obscenely wealthy corporations and helps to keep black folks out of white folks field of view. At the end of the day, Ron Paul talks a good game, but being that he's been in political office for sometime what has he done for black people period???

I rather enjoy when black people talk about Ron Paul and what he's going to do for black people. Yet they conveniently forget that the man has been in office for quite a while and hasn't done a damn thing for black people. He's not even an option. This is some old Conservative/Libertarian talk that now whites have almost all of the resources, NOW they want to lip profess and 'promote' equality...wake up WillyWill3!

I simply cannot take any post (or poster) seriously that supports Ron Paul as a possible "best candidate" for Black folk; and then turns around and states, "Glad Obama is fixing that 15% of unemployment for African Americans" and "Remember this Obama supporters? Why hasn't Obama paid for my gas and mortgage? HAHAHAHAHA."

That either means the poster has no clue about what Ron Paul is all about, or just no clue in general.

Ron Paul's answer to both of these "problems" is/would "it ain't my problem ... the market will work it out ... If you starve waiting for the market to correct the problem; well, to bad, so sad.  Your survival isn't the government's concern."

One question: What does Ron Paul's record say in regards to black people? That's all I want to know. Some African Americans want to advance forward, not revert back. The problem with Liberal African Americans, they complain about the system the same system who still keeps them down and some thing that happened 200 years ago, when really this is an irrelevant issue to African Americans today...rather "slavery" affects the social status than race now. So your "president" who is getting rich off of using his skin color is playing you for saps. Very much sad to see the Liberal African Americans still stuck in the slave mentality. Quite sad, but there are people coming around to actually doing some thing.

Whether Ron Paul, or even Barack Obama, is someone worth supporting is a matter of opinion.  However, if anybody thinks that Ron Paul will 1) win the Republican nomination in the first place, and 2) win a majority of black votes against Obama... you are as delusional as you can get. 

And why is anybody arguing with Willywill about this?  Ron Paul as a contender in a presidential election, especially among black voters, is such a fairytale that it really can't be worth actually arguing about it. 

Yeah, what Vox said, that and the fact that NO Americans are going want to listen to that little whiney annoying voice for four years straight; he sounds like Sarah Palen's brother or something.

I agree that Paul will never, ever, ever, be considered a serious contender for the presidency of the United States, let alone win a primary or general election.  But my concern is with these Black folks that fall for the fantasy that is Libertarianism.  Its hallmark, personal freedom, sounds good ... but it all falls apart when tries to actually apply it.

And Willy, a really telling sign of your mistaken notion about Paul and/or Libertarianism is your using "Paul" and "community" (Black or otherwise) in the same sentence.  Paul and/or Libertarianism is anti-community/anti-collective action. 

The only ones calling PRESIDENT OBAMA the messiah, the savior, the One, etc., are white folks.  Willy ... are you a poser?
