Wow, this'll be some shindig:

Jesus
Siddhartha
Confucious
Imhotep
Manetho
Any of the Nubian/Meroitic rulers, like Candace Amanitere
Abu Bakari II (who apparently led a mass expedition from Mali to the Americas in 1312).
General Tarik (Moorish conqueror of Spain)
Aristotle
Plato (to see how much they got from Egypt)
Tupac Amaru (the Native American freedom fighter, not the rapper)
Booker T. Washington
W.E.B. DuBois
Frederick Douglass
MLK
Malcolm X
Paul Robeson
Lewis Latimer
Andrew Bullock's father (my name-unknown great-great-great-great-great-grandfather, my earliest known African-born ancestor)
Richard Bullock I (great grandfather)
Mary Burwell (great grandmother)
MBM's great-great-grandfather
Thomas Jefferson
I don't know anything about my Mom's real parents nor my father's paternal side and his maternal side can only be traced back so far too... so because I have a keen interest in knowing about me and genepool that I came from, I want everyone all the way back to the parents of the ones that were kidnapped from home.

I feel like I have no sense of personal history or connection, so I'd want to meet them, and talk to them, and build my family tree. I'd like to know where in Africa my great great great etc.. grandfather took his first steps as a baby. And for the ancestors I have that are not from Africa, I believe some are from South America, I want to know them too.

I consider the above history and technically they were well known (someone knew them well), but if it could only be famous well known dead people then I'd have to go with the heads of all the major religions. Would want to know what really happened, what it all really means now, would they change anything considering what the religion stands for today, how is it different then what they taught, etc...

MBM, this question reminds me of a the time I was in DC. Clarence Thomas had just been confirmed as a Supreme Court Justice. During an informal reception, I was asked the same question by a close associate. He too had been asked in a interview this question.

I thought for a second, and said, "Since I'm in Washington, the first person I would invite would be Clarence Thomas. I just want to know first hand if that brother is for real. And if he is as he presents himself, my second guest would be the Grand Dragon of the KKK. So that he can explain to Thomas that he has a robe too."

Imagine my surprise when I found out that Justice Thomas was within hearing distance. OOPs. red face
I would also want my grandparents to head my list. I am convinced they were from 'broken' families.

With my grandfather being born a slave, I am concluding that slavery scattered his family. He is the only one we know.

We know nothing of the family of my grandmother's family.

I also need my father and mother there.

After that, there is a list from to forever.

I really, really would like to talk to Willie Lynch in whatever incarnation; real or imagined.

I would like to talk to that entity that keeps us arguing with each other about our personal authority.

I would like to get Jesus at the table to try to persuade Him to use his influence to convince all these doing things in His Name that this is not their job.

I don't need a big table for my group.

But I really need to thank Diop.

PEACE
