Why. Since it happenned long before me and I'm not planning on running for public office and don't expect a presidential appointment that requires confirmation; so why should it concern me.

I'd bounce only if she said that she still made these films [for public consumption].

I'd also end it if she made a practice of bringing her having made the films at family gatherings or at the weekly dinner with the minister. Big Grin

Otherwise, if things were going great...well, let it continue.
Who cares that there's photographic evidence that *gasp!* your partner has slept with other people?? I think it's crazy that men seem to have such a problem with someone seeing their wivfe/girlfriend/sister/whatever naked and/or performing different sex acts, but they have absolutely no problem watching someone else's wife/girlfriend/sister/whatever when it's time to get your masterbate on.

My sentiments exactly.....
Suprising but good responses. I have no problem dating someone that has been with other people before. I am just stating that I would have a problem with dating a pornstar???

YES, I would have problem with it. I wouldn't like to know that my wife or girlfriend was gangbanged and it's all on video or on the internet. If I made porn movies and then told her after months or years of being together, I would have no problem if my wife or girlfriend left me. I just did not realize that some people just don't care/have a problem with it.

Frenchy, I do not watch porn and by your comments it seems that you assume every guy watches porn. Although a majority of porn is made for men, who says women would not have a problem dating a man that made porn movies?

"I think it's crazy that men seem to have such a problem with someone seeing their wivfe/girlfriend/sister/whatever naked and/or performing different sex acts, but they have absolutely no problem watching someone else's wife/girlfriend/sister/whatever when it's time to get your masterbate on."
1. Not at all pornstars (amateur or professional) are gangbanged or participate in wild scenes on camera.

2. The big deal seems to be that it is on camera, or more accurately, that someone else knows and can see he/she has done it and by extension, what are they going to think of him/her. You're in a relationship with this person. Who cares what other people think? I think it's a really crazy to breakup with this person or act like it somehow changes the person you were in this great relationship with.

3. In general, women seem to have less of problem pursuing male pornstars, strippers, escorts, etc on relationship terms. Star Jones' husband (allegedly Wink) used to strip for men. With all the attention she brought on the relationship with her wedding, she simply said "We're both comfortable with his past." That's what I'm talking about! I'm sure there are women who would have a problem with it.

ronin10, why don't you watch porn (if you don't mind my asking)?
We all have a past and we can't change anything that we have done. I would be concerned with a potential partner's HIV and other STD status regardless of whether or not any of their past sexual encounters were caught on tape, as we all have a sexual past. It is difficult for anyone to discuss previous sexual liaisons with their partners, and I applaud anyone who is forthcoming enough to share something as potentially explosive as having starred in a "few amateur porn videos" - which, IMHO, is a far cry from being a porn star. We claim that we want honesty from our partners, but the phrase comes to mind ... "The truth? You can't handle the truth!"

In the final analysis, if the relationship is strong and there are no other major issues, I don't see a problem with skeletons that are no longer in the closet. It is the unknown that is far more frightening to me.

Adults fuck. Get over it. cool

Razz That's why you're my sista...

I wouldn't just be like, "peace out", or anything. We'd talk about it. I might be a little concerned about the STD factor but there are tests for all that. No biggie if you ask me. We definitely all have a past and I'm sure all y'all ain't too proud about what you used to do either. bsm
I think I would hit the roof! This would probably be one of the worst things to happen to anyone, except cheating. I would think he deliberately hid this from me, because he knew of the consequences. It's a really deceitful thing to do to a person, and the first thing I would do is go, no le me rephase that RUN RUN RUN to get checked out.

The problem with that situation is this, sometimes STD's do not show up for a couple of years, like AIDS.

I would probably be really worried about my health mostly.
I love this question. I would want to see the videos, I don't have a problem with porn, I have a problem with ejaculation shot in the face. I think that they "face shots" degrade women.

General sex, Frenchy said it best, "Adult fuck, get over it" .

We live in a society that is very outmoded when it comes to sex and very hypercritical when it comes to women and sex.

I would welcome his honesty, and as long as I knew his medical history, and that he was not lethal, what he did before me is of no consequence to us. Unless he had sex with men, that is where I draw the line, it would be over on the romantic front, but we could be platonic friends
To answer your question DDouble, the face shot serves no purpose; all it does is prove that he had an orgasm, nothing more. It is equivalent to urinating or defecating on somebody in my book. While it is clear that some people are intrigued by that type of porn, like necrophilia and s&m, none of them do anything except repulse me and I probably would not relate well or date for long a man that found any of those activities appealing.

My questions to you are:

Why don't you think it is degrading to women?

and if think it is not degrading: What purpose does it serve, does a face shot add to the porn? And why do you call it the "Facial money shot"
When I read this, I had the same thoughts as Donna529. What diease did he pick up in the "porn years" that could affect ME!! I would start pulling back because it will come back to haunt me with my accepting attitude. You know what I mean? I say its OK until the subject comes up unexpectly in conversation with folks that don't need to know or I don't want them to know. But, since its no longer a secret to ME, why not tell others when the opportunity presents itself? Such as in conversation with my FAMILY, FRIENDS, or CO-WORKERS. OUCH!!

Honestly, I'm pretty neutral about it. Money shot is not my term - it's an industry term for the ejaculation scene; facial should be self-explanatory. The visual is what confirms the orgasm for men in porn, so whether it's on the face or anywhere visible, it's the same.

But back on topic - Most porn stars are screened for disease multiple times a month. There's a good chance that a porn star is more certain about his/her STD status than many of us at this board. I think the issue of dating/marrying a former porn star is more of a security issue on the part of the other partner.
