I think Beyonce has heard your cry. She is now letting her crotch do the singing. Witness the MTV Video Music Awards:

How I loathe her.

I agree with your entire list (though I'm partial to saying "Hit-n-Run Halle") and would add:

  • Cristal champagne (that shit SUCKS!)
  • Hummers (the kind you drive, not the ones you give/get... ha ha ha)
  • Huge, elaborate weddings (is it really necessary to descend from a glass-enclosed, horse-drawn carriage with footmen, etc... Yeesh!)
  • The Almighty Oprah Winfrey (her studio audience needs help, especially during the Favorite Things episodes when they fall out over every gift)
  • Denzel Washington's looks
  • 1) The State of Hawaii as a vacation distination-there were spots be the majority of what I saw was rude people and dirty beaches.

    2) NFL Quarterbacks' passing games-But for the receivers making leaping, diving, one-hand grabs, most would go 2 for 10.

    3) Strange (Fellows know what I'm talking about)
    ...overrated?

    1) Race
    2) "yuppie" Zip-code
    3) Big cities
    4) SUVs, period!
    5) NBA
    6) Height-ism (women: get a grip!)
    7) Wealth (along w/those who have it)
    8) US Presidency
    9) US Military
    10) Judicial system
    11) Harvard
    12) I realize it has been stated, but I'll stated it again for emphasis: "Halle Berry!"
    13) American journalism -- especially broadcast media
    14) California
    15) Multi-culturalism
    1. SUV's
    2. Professional sports and all that goes along with them.
    3. Hip-hop/rap culture (50 cents, Diddy, Jay-Z, Nelly, Kanye West, et. al.)
    4. Corporate/Commercial media
    5. "The Heartland"/"Middle America"
    6. Every pop diva that you can think.
    7. Materialistic/consumeristic status symbols (cars, homes, jewelry, clothes, appliances, )
    8. TD Jakes, Eddie Long, Creflo Dollar, Fred Price - any Negro preacher who earns more than 10x as much as the average salary of his congregants.
    9. The terrorist threat.
    10. The economic recovery.
Which designer handbags are vinyl?? I can't believe people are doing that!

The whole point of getting a bag from a good designer is the craftsmanship and expensive, long-lasting material!

I love Walmart. I know its not PC to support the conglomerate, but they have everything in there! We'll have to agree to disagree on Walmart and Be-yawn-say lol

But I do disagree on oral sex being overrated. A dose of cunnilingus does wonders to the mind and natural endophins. Frenchy, don't knock it till you had it done right.

Crossing your legs, Sistasouljah, huh? But why, I ask? Don't knock it till you tried it!

what exactly entails "doing it right?" Anyone else, feel free to jump in as well!!

First the performer must enjoy performing it. If so, it clearly comes through. The act is in itself the goal...not a requisite task, to get one to the next thing.

That said: As with most things...Slow and steady wins the race...An understanding that it's not your last meal, you don't have to eat whole thing...

They used to be heavenly when I had them as a kid over 30 years ago, before the became ubiquitous. I had one a couple of years ago, and was disappointed. I think that they have changed the recipe, but I am not sure.

I have to disagree. Back in the day ... before the day of the paper fraternity/sorority (you'll know what I'm talking about) ... Fraternities actually got things done and looked out for one another, even if you were of a different organization. We all respected what we went through and what we were attempting to accomplish.

But now ... Sign your name, Pay your dues, welcome to the frat ... bs
