I was watching the news the other day and they took some poll on "the top 5 guy movies of all time". To my shock (don't ask why), "Scarface" And "The Godfather" was either first or second on everyones list?! WHAT am I missing here, I mean the Godfather is cool and all but damn! And Scarface!? 5 minutes after seeing it I'd fogotten all about it. So any way what are your top 5 "guy movies?"
My list:
1)Stand by me. (I was roughly the same age as those kids when it first dropped so I really identified with it.)
2)Return of the Dragon.(Enter the dragon was good, but Bruce Lee vs.Chuck Norris!? The best realistic fight scene ever, and an excellent example of the philosophy of jeet kune do.)
3)5 Deadly Venoms.(Still my favorite kung fu movie.)
4)Raiders of the lost ark.
5)36 Chambers (Master killer).(Man this, and 5 deadly. reminds me of when the streets would be empty from exactly 3-5p.m. on sat. back in the day when the N.Y. tri-state area would get those old kung fu movies, and at 5 on the dot everyone would be in the street KICKING THE CRAP out of each other...till some got punched in the eye for real. )
