TROY DAVIS STAY OF EXECUTION DENIED BY SUPREME COURT

The Supreme Court just issued word that they will not grant a stay of execution for Troy Davis.

 

 

Sorry Troy.  Sorry to Troy Davis' family.  Sorry to the Family of the officer that was killed.  I know this has had to be emotionally brutal on both families.  I personally feel that after they were able to show that the evidence that convicted Troy Davis was fabricated, he should have been given a stay of execution and then released on the grounds that there was not evidence that he murdered the police officer.  So, if Troy Davis really is innocent, then this country has murdered, yet, another human being without evidence of his guilt, and have let, yet, another murderer go free in this country.

AJC reporters are inside and outside the prison, in Savannah and with Mark Allen MacPhail's family members as the hour approaches for the execution of his convicted killer Troy Anthony Davis. We will provide continuous updates here as they happen.

11:25 AJC reporter Rhonda Cook and other media witnesses report that Davis addressed the MacPhail family directly from the gurney and again proclaimed his innocence, asked mercy for those about to kill him and asked his friends and supporters to continue working to get to the truth of officer MacPhail's death.

11:08 Davis pronounced dead.

That is the same thing that I was thinking.  Also, that since that psychotic Ku Klux Klan psycho that murdered James Byrd, Jr. by dragging him to death behind his pickup truck was being put to death, with what I know of racism in this country, especially in the south, I would be surprised if they made sure they killed at least one Black man to avenge his death, i.e., in this case Troy Davis.
