The message is good for the kids.  I was RIGHT there until she started twerking.  Look she knows she's big.  But seriously sooooo inappropriate to show all that no one needs to see.   Wonder what she's trying to prove.  Twerking is air f**cking.  So here we go again with all that sexualizing stuff.  Why sex gotta always be in shyte?  Plus she knows that's an unhealthy look.  Like she's promoting "bad" eating.  One day her body is not gonna cooperate and she's gonna drop to the floor.  Yes there are large, small and tiny people.  But when you are promoting a look that is unhealthy-I mean I get that she is self-confident.  But is she really?   Or is that the record promoters pushing her until one day she makes a real fool outta herself.  This reminds me of older women dressing like young women.  It angers me.  Cuz you can look good in your OWN age group.  So Beyoncé Lizzo is not.  And even Beyonce has toned down a bit-and she's no where near the size of Lizzo.  I just think it's sad.  She's trying just a little bit tooooooooooooooooooo hard.   But!

I don't know why she wasn't escorted out by security or police.

I wouldn't want to be a parent that brought their young children to basketball game only for my children's psyche to be molested by her disgusting behavior>

Its really a shame that she has so little confidence in herself and her own talent that she felt she had to go as far as to perform such a 'publicity stunt' to garner attention/social media clicks.

But, a basketball game, where CHILDREN are also in attendence, is not the appropriate venue for obscene publicity stunts.

I think she did something that was deliberately offensive so that if people made negative comments about it, she can play the role of a victim.  I heard earlier at that same game a rapper that no one has ever heard about started throwing money in the crowd and was arrested because of it.  I guess the Lakers had the capacity to do the right thing, but didn't want to offend her fanbase of the rainbow people (LBGQTMNOP+).)

**Your comment would get you attacked in the media if you were a celebrity.  For some reason, gay people dont want equal rights, they want gay supremacy.  They go hard for allies (which I guess Lizzo is to them) and gay/queer/fruity/rainbow crew...etc.  Yes, there were thousands of kids at that game and even those that were not next to the 'action' still saw Lizzo booty on the Jumbotron/big screen before the camera man cut it off.  According to many people online, Lizzo was just expressing herself and people attacking her just hate fat people.  To them, she is just showing body positivity.  To me, she is just a walking, talking unsolicited dick pic.  Offensive and in your face.  SAdly, she'll get more fans for this 'display', which is what she wanted in the first place.

hummmm-I guess we will have to have a conversation with her fan base cuz children in this type of situation comes first!  Lizzo is a grown ass woman and KNOWS better.  She is letting massa make her do a real back in the day  minstrel dance-a dance that no body talks about these days that was happening throughout slavery and Jim Crow-except now its popular in strip clubs.  For me?  It isn't about her being fat-it's HER not thinking about somebody other than herself-it's about her deep desperation to be socially accepted by one group...any group.  And these are the same gay mentality [derived Rome and Greece] that created slavery which included slaves dancing on the audition block for the sole purpose to entertain them i.e. massa.  But what Lizzo is showing most importantly is that she has no morals or empathy which truly reflects her all-in generation.  If she had those qualities she would always consider her audience.  Cuz everyone knows from the sound of my voice that a five year don't need to see her big ass  flopping on screen.  Bottom line.

If I were a parent of young children, yeah me and the gay guy who  thinks what Lizzo is doing in front of children is so cute will be going round and round.  Cuz his ass DONT get to choose what my impressionable children can or cannot see.  So I really don't understand why there isn't MORE outrage-from everybody!!.  Cuz despite what some gay folks think, they have parents too and many of em ARE parents themselves.   And kids model behavior-they mimic what they see adults do.  So it is not like Lizzo's inappropriate behavior is rocket science.  Plus most of Lizzo'a fan base is young-that all-in generation that NEVER-thinks-about-consequences-later group.  So if she's feeding them that sexualize persona-like say what Kim K did?  Trust and believe she will live to regret it especially if she decides to be a mother.  But Ho's not thinking, she just cashing in those dollars.

Today Kim K, say she now regrets it [the video with Ray J and posing nude] but  I don't believe her and I don't think it was her idea to tone her dressing down-I think it was Kanye with his newfound religious discovery.  Had Kanye not said anything to Kim?  She would STILL be dressing naked on instragram...cuz her own mother didn't say anything the whole time Kim was doing it-cuz her mom was cashing  in those dollars Kim was making too,

I am also surprised Black Churches haven't called Lizzo out.   Or the black woman that aint right  squad-the group gays have no power against.  But this is how America continues sexualizing black people.  They did it with Lil Kim, Foxy Brown, Nicky N., Cardi B and other raunchy black tricks who wanted the money and not their dignity.  Now these Black women are paying for it big time.   Others who walked similar stages like Josephine Baker, Eartha Kitt, Carmen McRae, Lola Fulana did it too but they did it with class and CONSIDERED the children and their Black culture.  And a lot of em made up for it by adopting children, being very supportive in the Black community-some have even apologized for disgracing Black  culture [in being apart of that oversexed caricature image historically promoted/campaigned by massa].

However today?  There is no NEED for any Black woman to lower herself to massa's  high standard of smut by allowing herself to be subliminally degraded and dehumanized.  They say in the media Lizzo won't address her sexuality on the gender she prefers to be with and that may be one of the reasons why she is popular with gays.  Dunno.   But to tell you the truth-watching a young woman raised in a Christian household doing this?  Behavior that would be considered a heathenish and sluttish? The Church would have a fit!  Cuz a lotta stars have walked down this road including Tina Turner who had to walk away from the Church.  Will this be Lizzo after the celebrity glitz have faded away?

So for me?   I see CLEARLY self-hate [and  some kind of identity struggle] behind that I-don't-care mask she wears.  I see a little girl hurt and wanting attention.  And will do anything including "twerking" [when she KNOWS damn well she shouldn't be doing it where children are but does it ] just to get the visual platform she has craved her whole life.   Actually?  It's kinda  sad.   But!

Oh, I fully understand that you can't say anything about Gays, women, fat women, Black people, or Jews, without being call "anti" or "homophobic" something or another.

However, I'm a realist, so I don't really care if speaking TRUTH or having a right to an opinion, bothers some in ANY group.

There is always going to be ",extremist" types in any group, and that's the way I see people that belong to a given 'demographic' that live in a virtual paranoia about the particular group to which they belong [or "identifies" with[.

I'm sure that there were plenty of Gay people that were just as appalled as I was to see a grown ass woman exposing her entire ass in public, with no regard for the fact that there were probably children watching her obscene as hell stunt.

Her being fat has nothing to do with the fact that her actions were very disrespectful, obscene, and an act of Indecent Exposure, [especially because of WHERE she chose pull off that publicity stunt].

She shouldn't engage in such acts if she can't take the backlash such acts will solicit.

Yall know that very dance i.e. Mapouka comes from West African countries?  And it was supposedly recently  banned in the Ivory Coast and a few other African nations.  It was exploited by the colonist during the many invasions of West Africa.  It evolved as other dances do from the root of the black community-some say it got popular from New Orleans...but!  I see it throughout history done in different fashions...like shaking hips from side to side....to rotating pelvis...like Hawaiian indigenous people have done.  It was used as a welcoming dance.  So of course with anything massa do....he destroyed it and reinvent it for a sexual purpose. And instead of black people rebelling for being once against exploited for their natural behavior as a culture ....they jump into it hand and foot...this time full booty.  It's disgusting for a  black woman in public view to make bank off that exploitation (by gyrating in sexual moves) and then pretends she doesn't understand the derogatory caricature(ness) of it.

We are losing our voice to tell the TRUTH!!!  Cuz everyone gets offended too much over  "nothing" most times but at the same time won't  do a damn thang about what is going on so WRONG in America.  Sista Sunnubian keep your voice...and keep it strong, loud and clear!     But!

I had 2 random thoughts when I saw the video 😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳

1) The twerking is sooooo inappropriate & shows a total lack of regard for the children in the audience.

2) The following thought was triggered by the twerking:  There's nothing glamorous about being overweight.  I'm reminded of diabetes, heart disease & high blood pressure 😳😳😳😳

I like the positivity of the song but she didn't need to sexualize the message by twerking.

So, that's what it takes for a Negroe to get on Saturday Night Live or something; they have to be willing to LITERALLY 'show their ass'.

I had high hopes for Lizzo and her being representative of 'big girls' and all, but after that Basketball game 'soft porn' stunt, she is no role model young girl/ladies out there that on the heavy side.

Boyd Watkins told her like it is.  Of course she rejected what he said about diabetes and heart disease which is rampart in the black community.  She doesn't see that she's being used by the media that promotes black caricature images and is overlooking how she is setting a BAD example for children...especially Black children.  But she's like the other folks who had to learn the LESSON the hard way.  And its acoming.  You cannot live a quality life being obese.  it's gonna catch up with her sooner than later.  Sooner cuz she doesn't care who's she is hurting and later because she thinks that she won't be impacted.  But!  Time will tell.  It always does.  But!

Obese or not [which is often life threatening] I can't get past her being in a public place where children are in attendance literally showing all of her ass while 'twerking'.

Yet, another example of how ADULTS blur the lines between ADULTS and CHILDREN, TEENAGERS, and evidence of what I always say, which is that there is ALWAYS an ADULT in chain-of-events facilitating or leading to adolescent/youth delinquency, and hyper-sexuality.

She should have been escorted out by security or police and banned from that venue.

But, why that did not happen is the same reason they will show Black [and Brown] women [and men] naked in National Geographic in a heartbeat, but would never show White women [or men] naked in those same magazines.

They want Black people to be viewed with the same perception as seeing a monkey or gorilla naked.

Besides, what do you expect out of "Black" people?

What do you expect out of 'naturally hyper-sexual', lack of morals, unsophisticated 'Black' women?

"For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?"

What shall it profit a Black Woman, if she shall gain the ATTENTION of the whole world, and lose her own SELF-RESPECT, DIGNITY, and SOUL?

What's so sad about this Lizzo  stunt, is that she really is very talented, she sings well, is a good rapper, a good dancer, is a Flutist, and she's actually a beautiful girl.

She never had to stoop that low.

Unfortunately, she her confidence may not match her talents.

Either that or she let someone convince her that she needs to do something vulgar in an inappropriate/public place to get noticed/attention.

end to end...her album is really good.  I can tell that she should have a long career...esp. now that she is repping for the large people/body positivity movement.  She didn't need to air out her cheeks, but that is probably the only way she can get a record deal these days.
