The decisions you make determine your future, and can impact your family as well, in the event any family member are too young to fend for themselves and need the financial/constructive support of a responsible adult for his or her survival.

RE:  "Author Shows Compelling Connection: Companies that Promote Violent Music Also Own Private Prisons.”

Just like any other business, without a steady supply of permanent customers, the business will not prosper.  Government and privately financed prisons, county jails, city jails, mental institutions, etc., etc., create gainful employment opportunity for police officers, criminal court employees, judges, court reporters, court clerks, prison guards, lawyers, clergyman, medical doctors, nurses, psychiatrists, mental health professionals, building maintenance and construction workers, etc., etc., etc., creating gainful employment for anyone but U.S. born Black men and women, whose poor judgment and decision making made this possible.

No one held a gun at the temple of any of these individuals to cause these men and women to move fast in the wrong direction.

Truly innocent, U.S. born descendants of slavery, who have been violated by any atrocity of government, or who  are or who been have convicted without good cause, have recourse, and a possible chance for redress, provided he or she are competently represented, but here again, the so-called university educated in the Black community, such as judges (Justice Clarence Thomas being one of multiple examples),  incompetent, unethical, and treasonous Black lawyers (Attorney Elizabeth Harris, Attorney Sherise Francis, and/or other spineless and treasonous Black lawyers) dysfunctional Black elected officials (multiple members of the CBC, other elected Black leaders), un-American but misguided Black Nationalists, The Race Card Players, The Sleazy and the Greedy, Black America’s Yellow Journalists and Yellow Journal Newspapers, Court Clerk Delores Odom Stocks, etc., etc., have exacerbated the situation or have failed to step up to the plate in behalf of the many innocent Black men and women falsely accused, and punished without good cause.

More times than not, a Caucasian-American, Hispanic-American, Jewish, Korean-American, Italian-American, Jamaican, Ethiopian, Somali, Filipino, Iraqi, Russian, Mexican-American, etc., etc., communities won't be lifting a finger to look out for any U.S. born descendant slavery, because this is not their first duty/responsibility, to be the first to step up to the plate for any U.S. born descendant of slavery.

You would think after being a witness to, or being aware of generations of U.S. born Black men and women rotting in prison that the younger generation would be smarter.

After being released from prison, that is if he or she are not incarcerated for life, it is certain that these individuals will return to the Black community, and without gainful employment, without a second chance, these individuals will commit additional criminal acts to make the Black community an even more precarious, and unsafe place to live, for U.S. born descendants of slavery.

Without targeting any particular gender some Black men and women need to do some serious thinking, make better decisions, because the decisions you make determine your future, and can impact your family as well, in the event any family member are too young to fend for themselves and need the financial/constructive support of a responsible adult for his or her survival.

One thing is certain.  The Black men and women who commit criminal/unethical/shameful acts, compromise gainful and lawful employment careers, their reputations are in the toilet, and after the criminal indictment, fines, etc., these Black men and women can't start crying about the future he or she faces.

http://nation.time.com/2013/04...y-high-unemployment/

Unless given a second chance, a felon, especially Black men and women who are felons face an uphill battle finding lawful gainful employment.

Unless an individual has substantial savings, hit the lottery or the stock market,  is an heir to wealth, without work, without lawfully earned money this increases the chance of a felon committing additional criminal acts just to provide the necessities of life, such as food, clothing, and shelter, which means the chance of returning to prison are high.

THE JOB OF A CONGRESSMAN

There are cases where an individual has been wrongfully treated by his government and about the only way, unless the individual resorts to court, and even in some cases the courts are not able to give proper relief, the only area or avenue open to the individual is through his representative. When you find a bona fide error has been made, I suggest that you make a maximum effort to remedy it. This I feel is a vital and important function of those of us in the House of Representatives”.

Property in One's Labor by Adam Smith

The property which every man has in his own labour, as it is the original foundation of all other property, so it is the most sacred and inviolable. The patrimony of a poor man lies in the strength and dexterity of his hands; and to hinder him from employing this strength and dexterity in what manner he thinks proper without injury to his neighbour, is a plain violation of this most sacred property. It is a manifest encroachment upon the just liberty both of the workman, and of those who might be disposed to employ him. As it hinders the one from working at what he thinks proper, so it hinders the aothersa from employing whom they think proper. To judge whether he is fit to be employed, may surely be trusted to the discretion of the employers whose interest it so much concerns. The affected anxiety of the law–giver lest they should employ an improper person, is evidently as impertinent as it is oppressive.”

CNN i-Report:  "President Obama Forget RICH & WHITE Americans FIGHT for Black/Hispanics American NOW" by Vera Richards

Selected comment:

"African and Hispanic Americans need President Obama to fight for us NOW. FIGHT FOR us President Obama Don’t sign Senate “Reducing Flight Delays Act of 2013” Bill. FIGHT tell Reid to do filibuster reform so that you can appoint federal judges and deliver on your campaign promise to make this a more just nation for all Americans not just the RICH AND WHITE!" by Vera Richards

Well Vera Richards, don't hold your breath too long, because President Barack "the Chicago-Cut Throat-Illegal-Alien-Bootlicking" Obama thinks more of illegal aliens than U.S. citizens and legal immigrants.

Hispanics (legal or illegal) are doing very well under Obama, and Hispanics do not need the first U.S. born Black man or woman, to speak in his, her, or their behalf.

You, Vera Richards, must be, one of the better than 90% of the misguided Black electorate who overwhelming voted for Obama in 2008, and 2012.

http://ireport.cnn.com/docs/DOC-955888

You voted for a liar, a hypocrite, and a despot in no good Barack Obama.  You should be pointing the finger at yourself, and all the other misguided black men and women who voted for this misfit.

I'm U.S. born, black, from the inner-city, and with good reason I didn't vote for, and do not respect President Barack "the Chicago Cut-Throat-illegal alien bootlicking" Obama, and/or other Black elected officials who are a disgrace to the essence of what it means to be an elected official or public servant.

CNN i-Report:  Well Sandy Banks, Blacks are Irresponsible and Dysfunctional for Making Heroes Out of Misfits like Barack Obama, Maxine Waters, Herb Wesson, Mervyn Dymally, Mark Ridley Thomas, Yvonne B. Burke, Kwame Kilpatrick, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Jr., etc.

CNN i-Report: If given the opportunity or money, I wouldn't be willing to attend no good President Barack "the Magic Negro-Boot licking Illegal Alien-the Food Stamp President" Obama's inauguration because with good reason I don't respect BO.

Aside from having contempt for BO, other information has come to my attention.  It is alarming that no one, or very few individuals from within the Black community even raise questions when individuals enter the Black community or any other community without proof of legal status, proof of naturalized U.S. citizenship, etc.

CNN I-Report:  Indeed, it is commendable that the Nigerian immigrant, Emmanuel Ohuabunwa has achieved such a milestone. A strong possibility exists, that Emmanuel Ohuabunwa and all his family members could also be illegal immigrants!

RE:  "Ending the War on Drugs"

Just like any other business endeavor (legal or illegal), as long as a steady supply of customers exists to make the sale of illicit drugs, profitable, there is very little that any government official/agency can do to stop drug trafficking, illicit drug sales or use, etc., etc.

Furthermore, crying about going to prison for committing a criminal act that he or she truly committed is useless.

The best weapon against illicit drug use is to not be a user or engage in illicit drug dealing/trafficking in the first place.

The best tool, advice, or constructive tactic to keep from going to jail/prison is to be a law abiding citizen.    If any illegal activity takes place just make sure that it is anyone else but you.

http://ireport.cnn.com/docs/DOC-965365

The only individuals from within the Black community that I have sympathy for, engage in defending, or speaking in behalf of are any truly innocent Black man or woman falsely accused,  or condemning any lawyer, or elected official who fails to be competent in using his or her influence to protect the Constitutional rights of the the innocent.
