i didn't picture you as a tattoo person, don't ask me why- maybe one with hidden tatoos that the general public couldn't see but definetely not ones the average person could see.

I agree with the energy that comes from them, they are addictive. I only have the one, but i have been wanting more, i am just trying to come up with something truely unique and meaningful so I've been thinking for about the past two years on what to get next.
Peace...

Most people don't notice them or see them. tongue

Now what good is that?

And I've got one on the back of my neck that I also do not usually see. Doesn't matter. I put them all where I put them for a reason and that reason had nothing to do with what other people were going to see or think. And the small of my back is not usually exposed to anyone. I don't run around in cut off shirts and such. And up until I cut my hair short, the one on my neck wasn't usually visible either. But, that's neither here nor there. The places are significant to me.

Not everything people can see is "for" them. girl

I have two.

I got the first at 18 to declare my independence. It's a tribal looking gecko w/my name above the tail near my hipbone.

I just got the second one in December. It's a small star on my left wrist that I can cover with a watch or bracelet when I need to.

Which leads me to this question that I hope someone can help me with.

In TX, there is no specific significance attached to this tat, but every time someone sees it they ask me what it means! I just got it because I like stars, but I've been questioned so many times that I'm beginning to wonder if I mistakenly got the mark of the beast.

Does a star tat mean anything special from where y'all are?
3 tatoos that look like 2.

An ankh with a scarab beetle on it on my left back shoulderand a winged Asuet(Isis) on my upper right arm(which I designed) with a saying under it. The Auset and saying were done at seperate times but look like 1 tat.

4 piercings in one ear and 3 in the other, but I have only worn 4 earings(2 in each ear) for the last couple of years.
Has anyone here ever experimented with real henna?

Real henna might work, but I have no experience with it so I don't know.

I've played with black henna and it always showed up well, though.

I think it just has to be good quality and well-prepared because I've seen it hardly take on skin lighter than mine.

But I gotta warn that even if it mets the criteria, websites say that it might cause scarring and allergic reactions. Unfortunately, once you've experienced a reaction, you are forever hypersensitive to black henna.

I didn't know this when I was experimenting but luckily nothing ever happened to me.

I used to keep it on longer than I needed to too because I'd wait for the paste to naturally fall off. Red Face

But the stain always showed up well!
