An assertive man yes. A sensitive man yes.
An assertive man knows how to be inclusive and negotiate. IMHO that's a hell of a lot more interesting and respectful than always getting his way at the expensive of anyone else.

What's wrong with aggression existing in a man? You don't think he can control or channel it?

what's good about agression?
what IS agression?
In my mind it's not being assertive and knowing his own mind and handling his business.

Agression is "I am king fuck eveyone else, I'm getting mine."

Assertive is "I know what the fuck I want, but I am going to manage this so I get mine, and others get theirs. Win-win."

It's a listmus test: The more agressive, the less lacking in intelligence, creativity and connection with others.

Nothing works 100% of the time. Agression or assertiveness. But the aggressive man loses coz everything is a competition to prove himself, whereas the assertive man is merely philosophical - he's a winner. But if men think aggression is the ONLY way to achieve things then I feel really sorry for them.

Hey... just my opinion. If you want an agressive man, fine, there's more of them and less of the others. I'll take one of the "others" thanks.

NO, I believe that's referred to as arrogance!

Assertive is "I know what the fuck I want, but I am going to manage this so I get mine, and others get theirs. Win-win."

In a thesaurus, the word "Aggressive" is offered as a synonym of "Assertive"

Sounds like you may have met some arrogant a**holes who claim to be aggressive men.

There's a difference between an emotionally sensitive man and an emotionally immature man ...

I think it's a contradiction in terms to expect a man who isn't sensitive to his own feelings to be capable of being sensitive to yours.

Is that even possible?

Such a man isn't being sensitive to you ... he's telling you what he thinks you want to hear...

Let me add, I believe that a real man - a grown up man - is emotionally sensitive, emotionally mature, and is aggressive only when he needs to be. These are not opposites .... but should be integrated into a complete and healthy personality ... hat
