Does anyone know of a any product that really works besides (Magic shave). One that you can use with a razor.

Magic shave is horrible for some brothers. it burns against your face, and can leave rashes.
Sometimes a black man needs to simply allow his face time to heal between shaves. Electric clippers may help as well, as long as they are kept very well sanitized. Oh yeah, abstaining from alcoholic beverages will relax the hair (I am told by barbers).

This is the best method I've discovered. Shaving every third day with a clean blade seems to help me greatly.
In-grown hairs are the culprit. Shave often "with the grain". I use mach3 turbo with extra sensitive gillete gel. I have yet to try the Nitron. Maybe I'll run out and get it this weekend. Many brothers just haven't been properly taught by "dad" how to shave. I learned by trial & error. Luckly, I made most of my errors in high school, and have developed a successful shaving regimine into adulthood.
I shave twice a day regardless and I use "skin tight". Of all he products i've tried this one seems to really work

Most of my brothers did the twice a day shave thing with all different types of razors and then gave it all up during a depilatory cream phase.
Now they are all stubbly except for on formal occasions.
I'm not sure if that means that the creams became a hassle, too.
But the only times I've seen any of them without ingrown hair issues has been during the cream and the I don't care anymore phases.

In my previous life when we were in the woods or on our free vacations, I used to carry a razor in my pockets and dry shaved whenever there was nothing to do. So basically I'm used to it and twice a day is easy

I dry shave alot because I'm always on deployment and you can't bust out shaving cream on a C-130/141/5/123....

Try natural black soap, it really really works. I buy it from a local African man, but you should be able to find it online. DUDU OSUN is one brand you might see, it used to work but then it just stopped.
Below is the website for the man I get mine from.. I would suggest the Baraka raw soap. Whenever my fiance shaves, he uses it and the bumps are gone almost instantly. Now, he doesn't have bad skin, and he only gets bumps on the back of his head, and then sometimes little one's on his face. But, Baraka has pictures of people with really bad bumps, and their skin is amazingly clear. I would also suggest the SHEA butter, but I don't like this brand because it has a funny smell.Baraka's other products are excellent, but they aren't 100% chemical free.

B&C is the company that makes it. Some of the stores that sell weave and other hair products, lately Walmart (in some places) or you can see the ads in King, Blackmen, Smooth etc.
