If I'm not mistaken this has been done before.... or some variation thereof... There are many professionals in different fields on this board... active and non active..... There are also people on this board with an uncanny sense of knowledge......

Would you mind if I access the store of knowledge here.....?

Rules: Simply ask a question regarding a topic you have absolutely no clue about or in particular a question you've always wondered about.....

and after answering a question.... ask a question for the next person....

Assuming this to be true...Because the rich and powerful are the most likely to violate the Constitution in any meaningful way... And this system was set up by them and for them .... Which is why property crimes are among the more harshly punished (by time and/or money)... In many if not all of the amendments to the bill of rights, it is Congress that is prohibited from taking an action...

Nice guys finish last because they are not fighting for what they want, or know they deserve. It's largely a question of self esteem. A person who doesn't feel they are deserving of something (respect, love, fairness, ect.), will not fight to have it or keep it. So, if they don't have it, they may never have it. If they do have it, others will take it. That's why the nice guy is often seen as a wimp... because he is.

Next Question: I've heard that, in property investment, money is made in the buying and not the selling. How is this done? How do you buy property for less than it's worth, and then sell it for what it is worth?

I think the key to buying property cheaply can be about finding a _motivated_ seller - e.g. someone who is more interested in WHEN they get their cash than in how much cash they get. If someone is about to be foreclosed, for example, they may be willing to leave considerable money on the table (for you) - just to get out of the deal and relieve the pressure on them. They get their money and get the bank off their back. You get a property at a great price and gain the opportunity to make a nice profit from it in time. Everyone gains.

Also - because it is a value-added service that people want. Hence - they charge for it.

Q. With no money, how can I attract more (good, intelligent) contributing members to AA.org?
For mature members, perhaps you could go to the Black Enterprise web site and browse around the channels there. You could send an email to the entities that interest you. Further, you could contact Tom Joiner and see if a link could be placed on his site or at least get a contact email for HBCUs and make contact with younger members that way. There are also websites devoted to small minority business owners and many of them have forums that you could join and mention the site. There are so many African American sites that you could do a google search and find out which ones have forums. Lurk a while and see if you like the flava and then present this site. Just rambling, I suppose, but I think that at least one of these ideas have the possibility of working.
I've got an idea......

How about an .....

Open invitation to different internet communities (other respected message board forums) to chooose or select a general topic for debate. The environment would be comparable to the olympics. Each board would select three (or four) regular posters to represent their forum. More than one subject matter would be selected. Like the different events in the olympic games there would be different general topics and specific headings within them such as.... In Religious Debate... the topic of debate would be ohhh.. I don't know.... something like "The Metaphysics of Shango and Oludamare's effect on the state of one's perceptions." Then there would be other headings such as Political debate and so on. Perhaps a panel of judges could be selected from among the forums (probably the forum administrators or moderators would be the judges). Perhaps the debate could take place once a month lasting three days each month. Happening at a different forum each month. The idea is to generate activity at the respective boards as well as generate buzz. You could also make sure there is a closed debate thread open only to particpants. However, topics of discussion may be commented upon by regular members of each board in other threads not closed.

Just an idea....

something to bounce around and refine....

Next question:Why are toothbrush heads sold large? Why not make the head of the brush small to get to each tooth better instead of large swathes of strokes across the enamel?

lol. Because it would be more time consuming to have one small brush for each tooth? And because manufacturing production loves one-size-fits-all.

I was taught an alternative way to brush my teeth - by flicking the toothbrush in a downward action between the teeth to remove build up between the teeth (in addition to flossing) - just using prolonged sideways brushing can wear down enamel.

Q: I'm curious why more people don't travel outside the USA more often?
Any reasons aside from cost - which is a valid reason, however there are always cheaper alternatives. Plus USD$ buy more travelling miles etc. at the destination.
A: Cost is probably the number one reason, especially for people with children (our dollars don't go that far any more overseas either). Lack of vacation time from work is another reason. There's also a number of people who think the US is home to the best of the best and have no desire to see anywhere else, don't think it's worth the effort.

Give it to me. Eek

No - the least risky investments are in savings accounts or in government savings bonds etc. Beyond that - if you have time/energy to do LOTS of homework you can sometimes find deals in real estate (i.e. someone trying to prevent a foreclosure or whatever).

Q. With there being so much more software available for PC's, is there any real reason to ever change to a Mac?

Yes - it is a far better computer for graphics and it does not perform well with Microsoft products and some industry-specific software. For example, my accounting program comes only for PCs.

Sorry I forgot to pose my last question ... so here goes!

Why is American getting fatter while the diet industry is booming - and what is the purpose of ordering a diet coke with super size fries?

Hi Sandye Smile

I hope this doesn't come off too quippy....

But I think the answer to both situations is "lack of discipline"......

Next question: Why do we have no choice regarding the biological manipulation and selling of food?
