A group of heavily armed Black protesters marched through the streets of Kentucky Saturday afternoon, demanding justice for Breonna Taylor.

According to Reuters, a large group of protesters carrying assault rifles, shotguns, and dressed in black paramilitary gear walked in formation to a fenced-off intersection where they were separated by police from a smaller group of armed counter-protesters.

The group, called the NFAC, is demanding justice for EMT worker Breonna Taylor, who was killed in her bedroom when four cops entered her home without identifying themselves and opened fire.

The police entered Taylor’s home with a no-knock warrant as part of a drug investigation. However,  the person police were looking for was already in custody and didn’t live at the residence. One cop has since been fired, but none of the officers involved have been charged five months after the incident.

John “Grandmaster Jay” Johnson, the leader of the NFAC, said the group’s march was an effort to push officials to speed up the investigation and to make it more transparent.

“If you don’t tell us nothing we going to think you ain’t doing nothing,” Johnson said in a speech, according to the Louisville Courier-Journal.

The group also participated in a march on July 4 at Stone Mountain Park in Atlanta, Georgia demanding the removal of the giant Confederate rock carving that civil rights activists consider a monument to racism.

Taylor’s death became a story again after the death of George Floyd. The two have become a symbol in the resurgence of the Black Lives Matter movement. Their deaths have led to nationwide protests and put a new light on police brutality.

In the aftermath of Floyd and Taylor’s deaths, several cities have begun to pull funds from police budgets and diverted them to social causes such as drug addiction and homelessness. Although the protest Saturday was peaceful, three members of the group were hospitalized when a gun was accidentally discharged.

Wow.  And there's more where that came from.  And the interesting is?  It is all over the world-can't help but see it from people know what it feels like to be an underdog....and they are now coming out in droves-worldwide.  And young  people?  I am so focking proud of you.  Yall calling everybody out.  Good.  And when I say everybody I'm talking about the silent European immigrants (some Latinx groups too).  Who came to America in the 1880s, 1970s and 1980s and created a life for themselves as they ran from their own country off the blood, death and sweat off of African slaves.   Plus they came here and started mistreating us in our own neighborhoods.  There's no denying.  European immigrants including the Irish intimidated and bullied Blacks and fought for jobs and housing that was supposed to be for "us."   A lot of them burned down established black communities especially after the Reconstruction and gave Black people hell and they didn't even LIVE here and America wasn't even their country.  And yet they participate in violence against us while human injustice continued to our nightmare.  Plus a lot other immigrants who benefitted from our suffering continued to be silent-like it didn't apply to them.  Year after year-decades after decades....until now.  Why now?

I did not know until recently that the owner of the store George Floyd was attempting to pass a fake $20 bill to is a Somali Muslim.  His phone call to the police is what started it all.  His community has felt the pain of that decision as why they are now marching for Black Lives Matter.  A young Muslim brother called them out on their silence.  It was beautiful.  Now they are protesting in droves and are talking about how Arab Muslims or light skinned Muslims discriminate against dark skin Muslim-hey the convo is starting.  Many in Arab nations who are dark skinned Arabs are secretly having these discussions about colorism-which is part of a colonization method of whitening the race-Arab slavers created designer slaves i.e. harems to homogenized their culture-as why Vikings sold European women [Christians] to them. [just like designer slaves were created in the Americas]   Arab Muslims [who are Asiatic] bought slaves from the Americas cuz they wanted a clear distinction between the dark skin African and the light skin Arab.  And this is why so many eastern European women including Irish, Armenian, Georgian, Scottish and the English etc, were kidnapped by the Barbary pirates- and brought  to North Africa-specifically to whiten Arab nations in dark Africa.  And cuz this also happened in the Americas [which is why I mentioned Latinx] you can see where slavers tried  to whiten every country in South America i.e. blanqueamiento (1880s) the same way it was done in North Africa.  The most successful country in eradicating African and Amerindian ancestry in the Americas is Argentina.   Plus this is what split the Hispaniola Island into two rivaling  countries i.e. dark skin Haitians vs light skin Dominicans.  I know this has nothing to do with Breonna Taylor but in many ways it does.  Cuz it's not one reason, it's a million little reasons why Black Lives Matter. This is just one of them.  But
