Listening to these clips, it occurs to me that Muhammad Ali may have been the most influential person of his day on race, race relations, and our uplift in this country and the world. An unabashedly pro-black, powerful black man, in the 1960s and '70s, somehow was totally accepted by the white mainstream. It seems I have a new topic to research and read up on.
