This could be helpful on a limited basis in communities where you got some cohesiveness.  A wise man  told me to go where the money is if you want some. That means trading with everyone. We’re in a global business scene right now. Like it or not, past models are for the past. Global is what is happening now. This is a damned big adjustment for us peasants, slaves, serfs and servants. How you do that is the question of the moment as I see it. This is just my way. Much as I’d like to, I don’t see unity or revolution or prosperity coming in from past models. I work with a very small group of people in a business model and do stuff that will first benefit others and secondly make money. I say small because it is hard to get cooperation with more than a few people. We go after markets in the US and outside the country. You don’t have to be an engineer or a programmer. You have to upgrade and refine your hustle to work with the business world. Like I'm saying, this is just my way.

Much why the Black dollar supports everyone and everything and every other community except ours boils down to the simple fact that Black people with the resources could care less and/or are unwilling to pool those resources in order to create business and industry that can compete with even the "old model" in the first place.

The breakdown is with black people and now all people, all communities. There is no  effective movement or great voice broadcasting truth right now. I can’t see counting on anything except trying to create my own venture and if we make some $, yes, we’ll be helping out. I like what Pharrel is doing. At this point, all I can see is working with a small group because the larger scene is not fully alive right now.

Nehisi, I like your general direction at AA which I think is about going to the higher spiritual octave, transcending the ignorance and madness raining down on us. That’s how I see it. Our minds are messed up and afflicted. If we can spiritually go beyond some of that (effects of slavery, Jim Crow, racism) we’d be in a better position to function with power and grace.  Not saying it is easy.

If we have different views, that is okay, right; this is a forum. My take is that we need to think like billionaires. The global billionaires are currently taking over the show. To be in sync with these times is to get into some jiu-jitsu. Study their tactics are and fight back on a global scale. It’s a visionary thing.  That means, for some of us, to look at the whole planet as our marketplace – global interaction starting at home base. This may make sense to a few people. No matter how humble, that’s how I play it.  It is a crazy amount of work.

At the same time, the Black Dollar can make good economic sense on a local level. I have done business in the past, when I had a little money, with banks in Harlem. I understand. That’s good. For the bigger picture, I go with the global approach since the multinationasl are on our backs now too.  That’s my focus

Is there a great voice or national black leader (not a hater) who is broadcasting truth and universal values right now?? What I’ m saying is that it is personally down to each and every one of us at this time to get there. That goes with what I said about working with a small group to create a business that helps others.  Down to each one of us. Bringing it home: we are the new leaders
