0-3 on the season with the great Frank WHITE... err... Weiss as coach. Wait. I'll stop because they're bound to make a dramatic turn around and win the rest of their games. lol

I thought about this before so I might as well ask it again:

Isn't Weiss coaching his own players now and now Ty Willingham's recruits or players Willingham developed?

Enough of your mindless babbling and bs
I am personnally leading a letter writig campaign to all the ND boosters to have uncle Charlie receive another bonus filled extension for the work he has done!
laugh

The answer to ?
I believe these are all his, especially the majority of the starters.
The good part to all this is the schedule gets a bit tougher so the end of year stats should be some doozies.
I see Jones saw the writing on the wall and got out while he could.
Saturday, I played golf with a [pissed off and white] big time ND booster who had played golf with Ty earlier this past week. He told me that Ty is in deed laughing. But what surprised me, the booster told me that he believes that Race played a part in the decision to do Ty. This booster tolf me that he was there for some meetings and he could believe the racist vitrol that was being passed off as "concern for the ND program". Roll Eyes

Frown

Now I'm sad.
Don't limit yourself... Point the finger at the whole institution called Notre Dame... They are the ones who felt that a change was necessary... They are the ones who thought that TW needed to go... Now they are the ones who have to deal with the worst start in the history of the football program... And they are the ones who will have to pay off the rest of CW's contract when they get rid of his ass!!!

All together now... POINT!!!

No one loves the Fugees more than me... I too am... *sniffle* sad... Frown lol

K4R: Are you surprised that he told you or surprised that race played a part?

Frankly, I was surprised this booster, whom I didn't know from adam, would tell me about the race component. I had intentionally, danced around the race angle until he put it on the table.

The booster told me about one bigger time booster ... the biggest car dealer in Indiana actually said "We need them Black stallions, but we've gotta have a higher thinker telling them animals where to run." Eek But what really got me was there were a few Black boosters in the room ... and not one of them raised an objection [or went to the press.] bang

I wonder if we could get Chris Cocker of "leave Brittney alone" fame to do another youtube spot called,"leave Charlie alone". Big Grin

I love how he is trying to se humour to deflect the facts

Did you intend that pun? lol

"weiss" means "white" in German.

No. Never that clever but since Weiss means White, it will be a permanent part of the rotation. Big Grin

I liked the group but I liked the picture more. Now don't tell me Peter Tosh is out of style...
My Trojans needed to blow somebody out, and who better to do it to than ND? Now the burning question is: Will Charlie Weis get to stay for the full 5 years on his contract? I think one of the big reasons that Ty Willingham was canned after 3 seasons (besides race) is the fact that his teams couldn't beat SC. Now that Weis has lost to SC 3 years straight, and this is the most pitiful ND team in decades (and these are mostly Weis' own recruits), his fate should be sealed. But this isn't a perfect world, is it?
This is not meant as a slam against Duke (MBM), but they have a legitimate shot at beating Notre Damn!

Duke has a pretty good offense and if they can hold them on D (not a stretch), they could win the game...

We'll see... 19

Of course, if N. Damn had a mid-season coaching change and brought back Ty Willingham, Duke would have no shot!
You probably already heard this sad story...

A seven-year old boy was at the center of a Lucas County courtroom drama
yesterday when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody
of him. The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the
judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with child
custody law and regulation requiring that family unity be maintained to
the highest degree possible.

The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him
more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her. When
the judge then suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy
cried and said that they also beat him.

After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning
that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the
judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who
should have custody of him.

After two recesses to check legal references and confer with the child
welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the University
of Notre Dame whom the boy firmly believes are not capable of beating
anyone.

I've been calling it all year. Duke beats ND and then Weiss quits in shame.

It would be funny if he was forced out...

I worked at the Navy v. Duke game and I have to admit that I was impressed by Duke's offense... Of course, that was against the Navy Defense, which couldn't stop our Pop Warner team...
How in the world did ND beat UCLA in the Rose Bowl?! Imagine ND, of all teams, having a winless season if the Bruins had won that game. I'm extremely happy about ND's season because (1)I'm a decades-long USC fan, (2)the way they treated Ty Willingham, and (3)the NCAA had no business ever letting ND have their own major network TV deal. I wonder how NBC is feeling right about now?
