i had to roast him....it's a shame because that real hate crime victims might not be believed in the future.  I'm glad they caught him.

Now he's gon pay for it.  See?  Greed.  It's not a good look on black people.  Cuz of all the odds are against us.  Right?  So why would you do some stupid ass shyte like that KNOWING that they are killing black people?  And to use sexual preference and being black as a ploy to advance your career? Well.  16 counts against him.  I guess he didn't figure that one....Mr. Smartypants.  And you know there are a lot of young people out there with that same mentality.  Only care about their gain....no matter who they hurt.  I see young people today rude, disrespectful no manners or empathy.  All they seem to care about are their phones, Instagram and facebook.  Yes I know Jussie got his folks backing him up but let's see how long that last.  Already the show is in a form threat because without Jussie....what can the storyline be about?  So now your homies on set may be losing their jobs....one of the highest watched in the hood.  So again, let's see how long Jussie's loyalists with last.  And I think dude gon do some time too.  But

While I fully understand just how hienous Jussie's actions really are, I'm not feeling crucifying him, while doing nothing to all of the countless racists out there who have told lies and made up crimes on countless Black people [especially Black males] that have gotten Black people harassed, brutalized, terrorized, maimed and mutilated and murdered in cold blood.

So, of course Jussie needs to pay for his actions, but what of all the racists out there that are sitting around enjoying life and freedom, after actually, literally ruining the lives of tens of thousands of Black people without consequence.

I hear ya my sista.  But!  Their time is HERE.  There is a shift in the social perspective.  Cuz back then, many didn't KNOW the full throttle of the cruelty and barbarism done to Africans by the 5 big nations who enslaved Africa/and its people.  Many were kept in the dark.  But now everything is in the light.  And racists  have the beam of light shinning down on them.  They don't have the power they used to dictate who is human and who is not.  Nor can they  continue the lie about how Africans got to America in the first place.  This is why the prez lied about the increase of white supremacy while [white] police continues to kill black folks.  It's a distraction.  I believe in Karma.  I see it in the weather patterns almost like we are back in the Little Ice Age period when massa was really getting his ass kicked for his brutality towards his OWN people.  Well.  He gon get it kicked again.  If you notice the world is in war with the racists by way of severe never seen before weather catastrophes.  Every where racists have gone and took over land and people....that part of the world is seeing severe unprecedented weather.

We also see it here in the states.  As why I don't believe in the three religions that have been forced down people's throats.  Christianity brought African slaves to America....and made sure they were not deemed Christians....cuz if they were?  They couldn't be enslaved.  But we were.  The same with Muslims and Jews.  In each "religious" document there are a sage way for "slaves."   Meaning Christians sold and bought slaves....justified in the bible.  Muslims sold and bought slaves....justified in the Quran.  And of course Jewish people sold and bought slaves....justified in the Talmud.

So.  Fast forward.  I'm here to say.....despite what massa has done to Africans bought to the Americas.....including spewing the fake history of our so-called  sub humanness….the bogus stereotypes and lies about us as a people....for Jussie to use all that [being a victim of hate/oppression] to advance his career...to me?  Is far WORSE than what massa has done and continue to do.  Because if we don't have true allies within our culture? Especially if they have a platform.   If we don't have trust within our community.....if we don't have black people who say they are black to represent us [especially in these times] in a way that dismantles all the caricature bullshit placed on our image as Africans and proves our brilliance and high-tech intelligence?  Then Jussie is nothing more than a "coon" eunuch-subliminally working for massa in the participation of our genocide.

Jussie didn't think this "stunt" through.  It shows his character as a person who calls himself a gay black man.  Well it may be true that he's gay....the jury is out for me whether or not he can call himself a "black man."  I say this cuz Black people [especially Black males] continue to get killed every day....and his stunt WILDLY  give evidence to those who say that black men are nothing more than criminals. Plus Jussie hasn't addressed Black people on this issue and if it is true that he faked this act?  He hasn't apologized.  So do I believe him?  I did once.  'But now?  Nawl….  And for me?  Giving Jussie a pass for his outrageous behavior [if true] is like giving R. Kelly [which he's been given for years] a pass.   Just sayin. [Oh and Jussie seem to me like another one of those elite privileged biracial folks who use either side of their race as leverage.] But!

I don't see what Jussie did as having anything to do with the racist stereotype racistS have concocted about Black men.

I see what Jussie did as more of a prime example of American Greed and American Narcicism, but specifically the Wealthy Black Narcism Syndrome that Black people with money seem to suffer from.

What Jussie did is also the epitome of where Black people with money or fame or a public forum are right now, where as Black people, are being literally LYNCHED in this country, this is what he chooses to do with his noteriety, public forum, influence, and money.

You know, i.e., damn all the Black people [even Black children] and especially Black males [which he is one of], suffering and being murdered all around him, becuase since he's lucked up on 'two dimes to rub together', he chooses to see himself as set far enough apart from Black people, his own race, and particularly Black males, that a purely self-serving act of fraud is the only thing he gives a damn about trying to do.

Jussie Smollett Breaks Silence After Criminal Charges Dropped

Jussie Smollett Returns To Court To Enter Formal Plea

Jussie Smollett has issued his first public statement since prosecutors dropped all criminal charges against the Empire star at The Cook County State’s Attorney's Office earlier today (March 26).

The actor was indicted on 16 felony counts disorderly conduct for filing a false police report stemming from the alleged hate crime hoax in Chicago that transpired on January 29, in which Smollett claimed two individuals assaulted him during a late-night run to a Subway restaurant.

“First of all I want to thank my family, my friends, the incredible people of Chicago and all over the country and the world who have prayed for me, who have supported me and who have showed me so much love. No one will ever know how much that has meant to me and I will be forever grateful," the 36-year-old began. "I want you to know that not for a moment was it in vain. I have been truthful and consistent on every level since day one. I would not be my mother’s son if I was capable of one drop of what I’ve been accused of."

“This has been an incredibly difficult time. Honestly one of the worst of my entire life. But I am a man of faith and I am a man that has knowledge of my history and I would not bring my family, our lives or the movement through a fire like this. I just wouldn’t,” he continued.

“Now I’d like nothing more than to get back to work and move on with my life. But make no mistakes, I will always continue to fight for the justice, equality and betterment of marginalized people everywhere," Smollett added, concluding with, "So again thank you for all the support. Thank you for faith and thank you to God. Bless you. Thank you very much."

Despite being free of criminal charges, the scandal may have put the performer's acting role on the hit Fox show at stake, as he was previously cut from the last two episodes of the most recent season.

They are NOT gonna let this go.   I think by the police chief being black and the governor so animated about teaching Smollett a lesson are why this will not go away.  It is really a lesson thrown at black folks.  It has gone beyond who to believe to subliminally putting a black person in his place as others like the education scandal are not seen as criminals but more of wealthy elites taking advance of being privilege.  As police are continuing to quietly kill blacks, this is what we are distracted by.  Sad   But!

'You Created A Movement': Chicago Elects First Black Female Mayor

Lori Lightfoot waves to supporters at her election night party in Chicago on Tuesday.

Updated Wednesday at 8:35 a.m. ET

Lori Lightfoot has won Chicago's mayoral election, which capped a historic campaign between two African-American women who branded themselves as progressive and independent in a city known for its political machine.

After eight years of rule by Rahm Emanuel — a centrist Democrat who previously was a White House chief of staff and congressman — the results of Tuesday's balloting mean Chicago will now be led by a mayor who has never held elected office.

Lightfoot — a former federal prosecutor who has worked in police oversight — easily defeated Cook County Board President and county Democratic Party leader Toni Preckwinkle. With 98 percent of precincts reporting, Lightfoot had won 74 percent of the vote, according to the Chicago Board of Election Commissioners.

"Thank you, Chicago. From the bottom of my heart, thank you," a beaming Lightfoot told her supporters in a speech punctuated by fist pumps and waves to the crowd.

"In this election, Toni and I were competitors, but our differences were nothing compared to what we can achieve together. Now that it's over, I know we'll work together for the city we both love," she said. "Today, you did more than make history. You created a movement for change."

Regardless of who won, the nation's third most populous city would get its first black female mayor. Lightfoot also becomes the city's first openly gay mayor.

The free-for-all campaign represented a sharp contrast to almost every past election in a city that has been synonymous with Democratic machine politics and bossism for nearly a century.

In the first-round election in February, Lightfoot, 56, and Preckwinkle, 72, were the top two vote-getters among 14 candidates. Lightfoot led the crowded field with 17.5 percent of the vote, while Preckwinkle received about 16 percent, qualifying them for Tuesday's runoff election.

The wide-open succession battle began with a surprise retirement announcement last year from two-term Mayor Emanuel, a prolific fundraiser and former White House chief of staff to then-President Barack Obama. The famously combative and profane Emanuel had earlier said he planned to run for a third four-year term.

But Emanuel's popularity suffered major blows as he grappled with the city's deep financial crisis and the increasingly volatile relationship between police and the black community. Those tensions rose dramatically after the 2015 release of a videotape showing a white officer firing 16 shotsinto Laquan McDonald, killing the 17-year-old African-American.

Both Lightfoot and Preckwinkle sought to brand themselves as much more progressive Democrats than Emanuel, a centrist who often feuded with public-employee labor groups, including the teachers union.

After recent polls gave Lightfoot a big lead, many Emanuel backers in the city's business community gravitated toward her.

In her first campaign for public office, Lightfoot argued that she's the best candidate to "break from the status quo that has failed us" and deliver "equity, inclusion and fairness."

The only way we are going to carve a new path for the city ... is to vote for change.

"It's unacceptable, the condition of our communities on the South and West sides," she said during a candidate forum last week on WBEZ-Chicago Public Media, referring to predominantly black and disadvantaged areas of the city of 2.7 million people. "The only way we are going to carve a new path for the city, to take us in a direction that our communities don't continue to be resource starved, is to vote for change."

Lightfoot also appeared to benefit from the anti-incumbent, reformist mood of an electorate rocked by yet another City Hall corruption scandal.

In January, federal prosecutors alleged attempted extortion by veteran City Council member Edward Burke. And they accused Burke of shaking down a businessman to give a campaign contribution to Preckwinkle, who is also leader of the Cook County Democratic Party.

Preckwinkle and her backers countered that Lightfoot is not a true progressive or outsider, having worked under Emanuel and former Mayor Richard M. Daley.

Preckwinkle also warned that Lightfoot's thin political resume shows she would be far too inexperienced for the daunting job.

"It's easy to talk about change," said Preckwinkle, who once served as a member of the City Council, representing the ward where Obama lived. "Change is not easy. It takes hard work. It takes experience. Being mayor is not an entry-level job."
