Honey, I want to run for Public Office!

Spouses of politicians are heavily scrutinized as well. A political spouse has to have a thick skin and a certain amount of patience for other people monopolizing their mate's time and attention. A spouse's family connections, background, and career choices might reflect on the candidate (positively or negatively).

I voted "intrigued, but hesitant"

but still i'd be proud that my sweet chocolate drop would want to serve Wee D. People

I would be surprised.

I would ask, 'For what office?'

I would ask, 'What is it going to cost me?'

I would ask 'What do I have to do, and when, and how often?'

I voted intrigued, but hesitant. I am sure that I would get racked over the coal for my political views and past activities. I don't think I have any Jeremiah Wright moments actually on tape. However, I might be in trouble if they scour the archives on AA.org and learn that I am 'kresge.'

I'd say "Let's Get It On!!" and put on the Marvin Gaye record!!


Then I'd hope he won so I could enjoy all the great perks and hot interns!!
