Grassroots Organization Seeks 1000 Men to Promote Family Values in Black Community
Los Angeles, CA (BlackNews.com) - Family Love Outreach Workshop, Inc. (FLOW) is looking for 1000 Men, in 2006, which fit the description of Leader, Provider, Protector and Strength in their Family and Community.
We invite Men from the surrounding communities of Los Angeles to join us on Thursday, March 30, 2006 at 5pm, at Tina Coopers' M&M's Restaurant in Leimert Park, the "One" on Degnan, 4317 Degnan Avenue. When Men work together, all things work out! Join Family Love and pledge your support in time for the FLOW 50 Project, scheduled for Saturday, April 1st through Saturday, May 20th, 2006. Contact Crystal Davis at 323-997-3072 or Minister Fred Shaw, to reserve a time to speak!
We're bringing back old fashioned family values and accountability! Too many of our young Men and Women have become prey to the world of drugs, illicit sex and criminal activities, and we all just shake our heads in shame. No more! This Is A Call To Action!
By seeking out Men, who represent goodness and decency, and who stand as the Head of his family and leader in his community, we will be able to bring them to the table and present them to the many youths who are in the foster care system, welfare system, homeless, in juvenile hall and on probation, and create a Partnership Agreement with open lines of communication and support. There is a whole lot more to it; this is just a start...
