This is a highly exaggerated statement/assessment because Black women have always went to church, which means that Black women were going to church even when 'single-parent' house holds were virtually non-existent or no where near the rates you see today.  

So, while his assessment may very well be true for SOME Black women who attend church, it has NEVER been true for ALL.

That's my problem with Dr. Umar Johnson; he has very valid points, theories, assessments, but he kills their validity by applying them with a blanket approach.
