Trump thinks he'll win the black vote, too.

Donald Trump thinks the United States will not see another black president for some time because Barack Obama has "set a very poor standard," the billionaire businessman, entertainer and Republican presidential candidate told ABC News on Sunday.

Trump -- who has questioned whether Obama was born in the United States and was once sued by the Justice Department because the management of his apartment complexes allegedly discriminated against black tenants -- also thinks he'll win the black vote.

Trump responded to a question on the show about a tweet he sent last year saying America would not see another black president for generations because of how poorly he thought Obama had done.

"He has done nothing for African Americans. You look at what's gone on with their income levels. You look at what's gone on with their youth. I thought that he would be a great cheerleader for this country. I thought he'd do a fabulous job for the African American citizens of this country. He has done nothing," Trump said.

"They have problems now in terms of unemployment numbers, look at their unemployment numbers. And you have -- here you have a black president who's done very poorly for the African Americans of this country," Trump said. "I think that I will win the African American vote and I think I will win the Hispanic vote."

Trump also distanced himself from his past praise of some of his current opponents, basically acknowledging he only said nice things about them in the past because he needed good relationships with politicians for business purposes.

Trump also would not rule out a third-party run for office, saying only that he wouldn't run as an independent if he was treated fairly by the Republican party.

Jesus could come down and run for President as a Republican and Black people wouldn't vote for Jesus.

Blacks have some common sense to never ever ever ever vote Republican. Republicans be damned. There is nothing to be gained by blacks voting Republican.

Tell me what is in the Republican platform that would look attractive to a black voter?

I don't know what would make a Black person vote Republican

But then again I don't know what makes a Black person vote Democrat.

They both don't do shit.

I think Black people vote out of hope that somebody somewhere actually cares about them without realizing the world is communicating clearly that don't care about Black people one bit.

I know I ain't voting again. I saw what would a Black president can do, that experiment is over. I already seen what Black mayors would do...so I am done voting. I'll might vote for a Black governor.

But yeah I ain't voting no more cause I see no reason to, so I don't know why Black people vote, what the fuck Black people are voting for.

You not paying any politicians, you not offering any programs, nobody in Washington got your back, you don't got any lobby groups that are effective, your entire leadership is a bunch of sellouts, the only non-sellout group is financed by Jews that finance the sellout groups, nobody listens to you because they know you gonna vote for them regardless

So why vote, you not gonna win shit. Only time Black folks had the ear of a presidential cabinet, we were getting slaughtered and our asses kicked and spied on by the government. And at the end of that, all of our leaders were assassinated or put into exile.

Every black mayor we had in the last 10 years or so we had was ineffective or corrupt. Only mayor that is good for shit is probably Kassim Reed.

So...why vote?

Might as well go back to the drawing board and rethink the "plan" (in quotations because Black folks got no plan) and probably start grassroots and try again.

You know, like the gays did. Because they got shit done in the span of 10 years. And they had setbacks like Don't Ask Don't Tell.

Black people struggled for like 100 years before the Civil Rights Movement. Then after that, not shit happened besides mass imprisonment and police killings.

So why vote? The shit is dumb, all we do is give rich people cushy government jobs.

I am going back to the drawing board, fuck voting.

LOL, you got a point.... but they get it done for the corporate establishment and I would argue one is more evil than the other. Its a mess and to think how much ground we have lost that began with the 2008 economic meltdown, off shoring jobs and manufacturing, incarceration its just a mess.

Look MSNBC is changing their lineup to become more pro establishment, that is not a good sign.

Eh, I consider them both the same, there's really no difference between them. Except one is for White women and one is for White men. Both are center-right. The Democratic Party only has leftists in it because there is a two party system and the Democratic Party suck out all the leftists ideas and use it as a platform. Also they have to appeal to women so they have all the feminists in it. Actually the Democrats would probably never win an election if it wasn't for White women and Blacks.

MSNBC is changing their line up because Obama was the face of this "leftism" and then Obama was a center rightist at heart and then signed on a bunch of people to defend his policies and blame White people for everything.

Now that there will be another White president and most likely Hilary, they need a center-right stance.

Get real people!  I voted for Obama the 1st time because he was Black.  I decided I could not live with myself if I didn't vote for the first Black man that looked like he actually had a chance of winning.  I never took Jesse Jackson seriously.

But face facts.  A junior senator who hadn't even completed his first term got nominated for president.  Long ago I recall hearing that it cost $100 million to run for president.  So how could Obama get that kind of money?

I voted for him but I presumed someone had bought him.

Surprise, surprise!

Xum

I, personally, detest this square, orange, blond squirrel headed sum*itch!! Such a wealthy cocky blow-hole, justa struttin' and braggin' Caucasoidy anus.

If the president hadn't had an African father and made the presidency, he wouldn't have been a problem. Men dumber than President Obama could ever be have made the presidency of the U.S. 43 white men have been president, killing and murdering is still rampant and the U.S. is still as fucked up as it was when Columbus set his Italian feet wherever he plopped those suckers thinking his ass was in India. Hatred's going to consume this country all the way UP.

Hey Trump, some of those white men that became president suffered from J. Edgar Hoover Syndrome. All that looks white ain't white. Don't get it twisted, Mister.

As a thinking black voter there was no other choice. Hell yeah you had vote Obama the 2nd time. Man I was kinda nervous in that 1st debate with Mitt RobMe, Obama seem flat, remember that? Yeah I'm sometimes an Obama critic but I could not help but vote for the black dude that had the right brand.

He had to be bought like the rest of them. This 2 party system is all we have but I will not ever vote Republican just out of spite or for any other reason.

Republicans tell you straight up they gonna screw you deep, hard and then throw you away like trash at least Democrats lie about it, screw you and then apologize later. LOL

Something has got to give, getting one establishment president after another is grand theft for corporations.

Wait until the Republicans get in and your kids are going to fight a war; come back with body parts missing, minds forever gone, or in coffins, with these dudes basking on their yachts or in their mansions' riding the car elevators of the mansions up to their living rooms, and you're grieving until the DAY YOU DIE.

White men LIKE MONEY AND DEATH' especially DEAD BLACK PEOPLE.with a few exotic animals murdered for laughs and wall ornaments of their heads; skins for rugs. It's becomes more apparent with every passing day.

If we had a dollar for every person that's been killed in this country since white men sailed this way, we all could live the rest of our lives without ever lifting a finger. All 320 million or whatever the number; whatever the color.

Joe Biden may be the best.  He is not a hyper salesman who trumpets his accomplishments but look at his voting record. He always stood front and center for civil rights. If wrong, let me know. He basically sees and understands that equality must be applied to all men with mutual respect. As Obama’s VP, he spoke of the great honor of serving a man of impeccable character, POTUS Obama. The ‘American’ value that Biden carries is that we are here to mutually respect one another in the American spirit of Equality.  Not to do so is un-American; that’s the implication. That means KKK, etc. are enemies of America.  At least, he is somewhere on that track.

Biden is a man of warm character. He is not a half-empty  rah-rah type. He’s a Real McCoy warmhearted type. There’s maybe no one as viably good as him for us and for a greater, more inclusive America bla-bla but yeah. Equality and mutual respect are American values. America’s greatness rests upon its citizens’  desire to live in a society where equality and mutual respect among citizens is a daily wonder to behold, a real way of living. This is more the spirit of Biden’s America: A more perfect union and all that. This would theoretically include working class and poor whites who’ve been trained like junkyard dogs to bark against their own interests.

Who did Barack Obama  pick among a sizable field of  politicians, none  but Joe Biden, to have his back.  Obama called this his best political decision ever. That’s where the tire met the road. I think he could be POTUS,  not only by his real human charm but by his sobriety on the issues. He can demonstrate that he’s no fool. His gaffes are embarrassing but there’s always a touch of ambiguity, wink, he really meant to say that.

I certainly did not vote for Obama because he was Black.  I don't care if he was as black as coal, if he did not have a platform that I felt was right for American citizens, the country and me, personally, I would have never voted for him.

The Black people that came before Obama who ran for president, who either wanted to lead the country in the wrong direction or establish policies that would only hurt the average American, working people, the poor, etc., or who I knew didn't have a chance of winning, didn't get my vote either.

When I say, 'the race or gender of the president is irrelevant', I mean it.

The real problem is the fact that most Americans just do not get that it matters far more the make-up of Congress, [and State Legislatures and Local Government] than it does who is President. Then it matters greatly who sits on the Supreme Courts and Judicial Seats across the country. This is something that one day Democrats, Independents, and so-called "Liberal" Voters might get, and vote accordingly to restore America back on a path of Economic Prosperity, Civil and Constitutional Rights Protection and Enforcement, Goodwill and Equal Justice

D.L. Hughley: Trump’s popularity is tied to his racism — ‘If he said n****r he’d be elected tomorrow’

Stopped by a photographer from TMZ at LAX, comedian and actor D.L. Hughley had a few things to say about GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump, including how his popularity can be directly attributed to his racism.

With the GOP debate this week, Hughley was asked if the GOP would try to stop the blustery businessman on the sidelines.

“I think the more racist stuff Trump says, the better he does in the polls,” the comedian said. “If he said n****r, he’d be elected tomorrow. Anybody that takes Trump — Trump being president is like Flavor Flav winning a spelling bee. I just don’t know how they take that seriously.”

Hughley also mocked the rest of the GOP field for trailing Trump in the polls.

“I think he’s turned the whole thing into a reality show,” Hughley explained. “How sorry are the other people running if Donald Trump is their best choice? How bad can your self-esteem be hurt when you’re getting your ass beat by Donald Trump in a political event.”

If reagon can become president, anything is possible. And if we agree that the 'powers that be', that being the corporatocracy was/is running it, then it really doesn't matter who they select for pres.

Let trump get the white house. Maybe his ego won't allow him

to be tethered by the corporatocracy, which means he's gonna F it up. Run this nation into the ground so that we may put many of those revolutionary ideas and theories to practice.

Either that or we get our house in order liking to that which claud anderson has suggested.
