Nah I dont need anyone to back me up, for what your arguement is one of a typical white dude. I was just wondering what a brother who actually lived on the continent felt about so called brother from the US calling them Barbarians and people who run around in the jungle with Cheetahs. I guess any black man who speaks that way about the land of his ancestors dont need a comment. Its typical of House Niggas

In my personal experience I can say the most distinct difference between foreign sisters and American sisters is the respect for black men. A significant proportion of American sisters I've encountered simply had little or no respect for black men, no real concept of how to interact with a brother and seemed to think they had to be confrontational or argumentative with a man.

No way a grown black man thinks like this. Where do you pick women up at? McDonalds?

Not meaning to jump into controversy - although I guess I might be doing just that - I don't think I've ever heard of a happy union between an American woman and Nigerian man. OK. Maybe one now that I think about it. But I've known many sisters that came away very bitter and disillusioned after such marriages.

I'm not saying that sisters shouldn't enjoy options when they present themselves. I'm just cautioning against being unrealistic. Both with respect to African men and their African American counterparts.

The same goes for men. Brother Romulus sounds like he has had extensive experience dating non-American black women. Maybe he's even had a lot of fun. But yet it seems he has still not found a mate?

African American men and women have valid issues on both sides. I believe that we need to learn to hear one another so that healing can happen. That is the tragedy. We seem to be unable to hear one another.

There are some bitter Negroes in here.

I do not differentiate Blacks by nationality for the most part. I generally attract Jamaican, Black American and Nigerian women, largely middle class and dark skinned. I like urban and some ghetto women but they do not seem to share that affection. I do not date South Americans or any Spanish speaking peoples. They are typically so mixed that I do not see them as Black and the little I know about their cultures seems vulgar to me. I have only dated a couple of Ghanaian women but they spectacular. I went to D.C and checked out the Ethiopian & Etrian scene, I find them unattractive, they look like dark Arabs. I think whom I'm attracted is largely limited to West African and its diaspora.

karate grrrr.... DID I LOOK ARAB TO YOU??????????????

Not at all, you looked..well, let's tame it down to great.
I didn't say all Ethiopian women were unattractive I was generalizing, I really just dislike the looks of the lighter ones, which seemed to be in the majority by far in D.C, the only place I've been around a community of them.

Look I only said that ... and I'm all sensitive and whatnot... because I used to live in the DC area and I CONSTANTLY was assumed to be Ethiopian/Eritrean....

I personally admire the fact that you have a penchant for dark skinned West African look....

most men adore the women of their own stock.... when they are not groomed by foreign influences....

and lord knows the West African woman has not had her day here in America...

okay let me find some photos.... tfro

Wait, wait, wait. You said you do not differentiate blacks by nationality but you turned right around and broke down each nationality of women by their distinct nationalities and even went so far as to express your distaste for Ethiopian woman and Etrician women because they look like "Dark Arabs"? And that's supposed to be okay because you have an afrocentric screename and a picture of a reversed American flag for an avatar? Oh I get it - it's okay because you consider hispanic people to be vulgar? That's rich. You'll rise fast in the ranks of AA.org if you continue using words like "Amerikkka" and consider non-blacks to be a sub-human species.

Literacy is fundamental. I do recall I said for the most part, for descriptive reason I chose use some Blacks nationality.
Though I see myself as Afro Centric or at least working towards it, my name isn't, its actually contrary to it, and also a joke.
Is it ok that I find Hispanics vulgar? Of course? It is perfectly reasonable to find a culture unattractive, I believe anyone who claims to like every culture is a liar. I assumed you and most here were adults, I have the right to find anyone I want attractive or unattractive, if they look like dark skinned Arabs to me , then thats it, and they are not attractive.
I guess your goal was to paint me as a racist, you've failed. If you wanted to know, instead of trolling me, you could have asked directly I'd happily answered you.

Trolling? Not hardly. You see, what I like about this site is people who quickly embrace anyone with a separatist, elitist, intolerant, pro-black, anti-nonblack mentality and try their damndest to alienate, harrass, insult, and smear people that do not share their views.

They profess brotherly and unconditional love when their love is actually conditional as well as intolerant. It was a simple question to ask I don't give a damn which member tries to paint me in whatever negative light they choose to cast on my person. I found it to be interesting that you made a comment that directly offended two members that are profoundly affected by colourism.

It's just interesting how you could simply change your statement in midstream and everything is okay. It was okay when I talked about my love for Ethiopian women and I was the greatest thing since sliced bread but the second I speak my mind about other issues, issues where my opinions conflict with theirs, then I'm a trolling, two-timing loser that no one should talk to. it's interesting how the second a comment I make appeases someone they come out of the shadows and give me praise but the second I stray from their path of righteousness I'm back to being an idiot no one should talk to.

That's what I like - not being limited by the politics of an intolerant group of people. Not being hindered by the desire to belong or be accepted. Just drop my two cents and move on.

You DO realize that there are Black Hispanics. That 95% of the African slaves that were brought to the Western Hemisphere, creating the diaspora, came from the Caribbean islands and Latin America.

You come to a site that would likely have Afrocentric and pro Black members, disagree with them then promote your self as some sort higher thinking, open minded, superior member. I'd imagine if you were such you'd be on a site that fit those needs. Anyway unless you have something to contribute to my better meant or ours, my engagement with you is over.

The point? I'll tell you the point. The point is that you just alienated the descendants of over 90% of Africans that created the diaspora in this hemisphere.
Ok if you say so. If you know where the slaves went, then you also know that those places had mortality rates sometimes 600% higher than America's. You also know that race mixing occurred at a far higher rate. So yes they imported more slaves but I do not think its accurate to say that the Spanish speaking countries have 90% of all Blacks in the diaspora. In any event you know how they view themselves as well as I do, I seriously doubt any of them were alienated, by this Black mans disdain for their cultures.

The funny thing here is we're all supposed to be educated, enlightened, professional, open-minded black folks that have the capacity to discuss various issues openly and objectively. When the issue of "liking" somebody or "not liking" somebody because their opinions, observations, experience, and culture may be different from yours is when childishness and immaturity comes into play.

Not once have I even so much as given the impression that I was better than anyone else on this discussion board, anywhere else on the internet or anywhere in the real world. I don't judge people based on their differences of opinion. I don't judge people at all. But when people take the position of ridiculing, insulting, and harrassing someone because their comments are not in accordance with popular opinion that doesn't sound too intellectual to me. That doesn't sound too communal to me - it doesn't sound fair and equitable to me. That sounds totalitarian to me.

I'm not a professional I actually despise that word, in the context of in which we are speaking it makes even less sense, as I'm certainly not a professional poster.
I actually see your point and understand and find unfailingly reasonable. But I don't agree with it, sometimes you simply want to be amongst like minded people and ponder action in which will better your peoples situation.Which is why many people join this site. A person with contrary beliefs might not only be different but also offensive to your sensibilities. So while I might come a cross a mild mannered Nazi able to discuss his idiotic views calmly intelligently and rationally, it doesn't mean I'd like to be in his company.

No. You've already revealed who you are in your initial response to me. Thank you for participating.

Actually I said nothing of a specific race.
You could be a little bit more subtle with your trolling, my friend. Going back to posts you already responded to is pretty blatant. But your rather innocuous so I'll play along for a little.

When I use the word professional I am referring to the people on this board that claim to be lawyers, doctors, teachers, psychologists, etc. not to their level of experience in posting on a discussion board. Obviously the point to join a group is to be around like-minded people but when you see descriptions like intelligent and community there is a tendency to to feel that the people on that discussion board should be objective, open-minded, intellectual, and are of a global mindset, when, in fact, with some people (considering there are thousands of other members of this board) are quite the opposite. Should one be proud of being a separatist, intolerant, totalitarian, and fascist? How do two wrongs make a right? How is it wrong for whites to be elitists, racists, and bigotted but it's okay for blacks to be separatists and intolerant of other races and nationalities of people? I fail to see the logic in that. Please enlighten me.

How is it wrong for whites to be elitists, racists, and bigotted but it's okay for blacks to be separatists and intolerant of other races and nationalities of people? I fail to see the logic in that. Please enlighten me.

You must be a leftist. You brought out the shtick full force. I haven't seen many fascist or National socialist on the site, why do liberal sort without fail inaccurately call people fascists or Nazis? I guess its an effective slander tactic in some cases.
I'm proud of being separatist and never faulted whites for being so, I fault whites for barbarism used to reach their goals, so I suggest you save you rants for someone else.
Anyway this is getting boring. I'm not interested in hearing anyone whine about racism. So this will for sure be my last response to you in this thread. Peace.
