There is a poll on CNN.com that asks if you would be willing to sacrifice your life for democracy in Iraq. Amazingly, 10% say yes. That seems absolutely ridiculous to me. The only thing I can guess is that some of Bush's NEOCON clones have voted yes.

I wouldn't give my used toe nail clippings for the effort, much less my life.

I find 10% pretty high in this day and age. Did it give a breakdown of sorts as to the demographics? I read a report once (and I wish I could remember the source) but it gave a breakdown of every war and conflict the US has been involved in. In each instance Southernerns were more than 2:1 in favor of war and actions leading to war. Northerners were the first to look for alternative means and the East and West were neutral for the most part.
