Christopher Dorner: Mountain Manhunt For Ex-Cop Accused Of Killing 3

DornerLOS ANGELES (AP) — A fired police officer who threatened to bring “warfare” to the Los Angeles Police Department went on a shooting rampage that left a policeman and two others dead and set off an extraordinary manhunt Thursday that put Southern California on edge, led hair-trigger officers to mistakenly shoot at innocent citizens and forced police to guard their own.

The search for Christopher Dorner had three states and Mexico on alert before shifting Thursday afternoon to the snowy mountains around Big Bear Lake, about 80 miles east of Los Angeles, where police found his burned-out pickup truck and tracks leading away from the vehicle.

San Bernardino County Sheriff John McMahon said 125 officers were going door to door and attempting to track the suspect, and that a SWAT team was providing added security to those in the community. Schools were put on lockdown while investigators examined the vehicle and spread out across the area.

“He could be anywhere at this point, and that’s why we’re searching door to door,” McMahon said, adding that the manhunt would continue “as long as we can.” A snow storm was expected in the region with temperatures dipping into the teens overnight.

Said LAPD Assistant Chief Michel Moore: “This complex and violent investigation has led to this mountain.”

The pickup was to be processed at a crime lab Thursday evening and examined by investigators from multiple agencies.

Throughout the day, thousands of heavily armed officers patrolled highways throughout Southern California, while some stood guard outside the homes of people police say Dorner vowed to attack in a rant posted online. Electronic billboards, which usually alert motorists about the commute, urged them to call 911 if they saw him.

“I will bring unconventional and asymmetrical warfare” to Los Angeles Police Department officers, on or off duty, said the manifesto. It also asserted: “Unfortunately, I will not be alive to see my name cleared. That’s what this is about, my name. A man is nothing without his name.”

Dorner, 33, had several weapons including an assault rifle, said police Chief Charlie Beck, who urged him to surrender at a press conference held amid heightened security in an underground room at police headquarters.

“Of course he knows what he’s doing; we trained him. He was also a member of the Armed Forces,” he said. “It is extremely worrisome and scary.”

The nearly 10,000-member LAPD dispatched officers to protect more than 40 potential targets, including police officers and their families. The department also pulled officers from motorcycle duty, fearing they would make for easy targets.

“I never had the opportunity to have a family of my own, I’m terminating yours,” the manifesto said.

At one point, officers guarding one location mistakenly opened fire on a pickup truck, believing it matched the description of Dorner’s dark-colored 2005 Nissan Titan. Two occupants were injured.

The chief said there had been a “night of extreme tragedy in the Los Angeles area” and that the department was taking measures to ensure the safety of officers.

The search for Dorner, who was fired from the LAPD in 2008 for making false statements, began after he was linked to a weekend killing in which one of the victims was the daughter of a former police captain who had represented him during his disciplinary hearing. Thursday was the anniversary of his first day on the job at the department eight years ago.

Monica Quan and her fiance, Keith Lawrence, were found shot in their car at a parking structure at their condominium on Sunday in Irvine. Quan, 28, was an assistant women’s basketball coach at Cal State Fullerton. Lawrence, 27, was a public safety officer at the University of Southern California.

Police said Dorner implicated himself in the couple’s killings in the manifesto posted on Facebook. They believe he was the one who wrote it because there were details in it only he would know.

In the post, Dorner wrote that he knew he would be vilified by the LAPD and the news media, but that “unfortunately, this is a necessary evil that I do not enjoy but must partake and complete for substantial change to occur within the LAPD and reclaim my name.”

Dorner was with the LAPD from 2005 until 2008.

According to documents from a court of appeals hearing, Dorner was fired from the LAPD after he made a complaint against his field training officer, Sgt. Teresa Evans. Dorner said that in the course of an arrest, Evans kicked suspect Christopher Gettler, a schizophrenic with severe dementia.

Richard Gettler, the schizophrenic man’s father, gave testimony that supported Dorner’s claim. After his son was returned home on July 28, 2007, Richard Gettler asked “if he had been in a fight because his face was puffy” and his son responded that he was kicked twice in the chest by a police officer.

Quan’s father, a former LAPD captain who became a lawyer in retirement, represented Dorner in front of the Board of Rights, a tribunal that ruled against Dorner, police said. Randal Quan retired in 2002 and later served as chief of police at Cal Poly Pomona before he started practicing law. Quan did not immediately return a message seeking comment.

Dorner said in his online rant that after his dismissal that he lost everything, including his relationships with his mother, sister and close friends.

“Self-preservation is no longer important to me. I do not fear death as I died long ago,” the manifesto said. “I was told by my mother that sometimes bad things happen to good people. I refuse to accept that.”

Dorner said he would use all of his training to avoid capture and track his targets.

Dorner also had served in the Naval Reserves, earning a rifle marksman ribbon and pistol expert medal. He was assigned to a naval undersea warfare unit and various aviation training units, according to military records, and took a leave from the LAPD and deployed to Bahrain in 2006 and 2007.

“I will utilize every bit of small arms training, demolition, ordinance and survival training I’ve been given,” the manifesto read. “You have misjudged a sleeping giant.”

Earlier Thursday, two LAPD officers en route to provide security to one of Dorner’s possible targets, were flagged down by a resident at a gas station in Corona who reporting seeing the suspect. The officers then followed a pickup truck until it stopped. The driver, believed to be Dorner, got out and fired a rifle, police said. A bullet grazed an officer’s head.

Later, two officers on routine patrol in neighboring Riverside were ambushed at a stoplight by a motorist who drove up next to them and opened fire with a rifle. One died and the other was seriously wounded but was expected to survive, Riverside police Chief Sergio Diaz said.

Diaz said news organizations should withhold the officers’ names because the suspect had made clear that he considers police and their families “fair game.”

The hunt for Dorner also led to two errant shootings in the pre-dawn darkness Thursday.

LAPD officers guarding a target named in the manifesto shot and wounded two women in suburban Torrance who were in a pickup truck, authorities said. Beck said one woman was in stable condition with two gunshot wounds and the other was being released after treatment.

“Tragically we believe this was a case of mistaken identity by the officers,” Beck said.

Minutes later, Torrance officers responding to a report of gunshots encountered a dark pickup matching the description of Dorner’s, police said. A collision occurred and the officers fired on the pickup. The unidentified driver was not hit and it turned out not to be the suspect vehicle, they said.

In San Diego, where police say Dorner tied up an elderly man and unsuccessfully tried to steal his boat Wednesday night, Naval Base Point Loma was locked down Thursday after a Navy worker reported seeing someone who resembled Dorner.

Navy Cmdr. Brad Fagan said officials believe Dorner had checked into a base hotel on Tuesday and left the next day without checking out. Numerous agencies guarded the base on Thursday. Fagan said Dorner was honorably discharged and that his last day in the Navy was last Friday.

Nevada authorities also joined the search, because Dorner owns a house nine miles from the Las Vegas Strip, according to authorities and property records.

Girlllllll!  It's a hot mess in LA.  I went in yesterday to do some business and I saw police EVERYWHERE!!!  They are NOT playing. But you can tell they are extremely afraid as why they shot those women's truck up without asking ONE question.  They could've killed those innocent women who were out there early in the morning  throwing papers on front lawns for the LA Times(they are set for life now...already have attorneys].

I think Dorner's right....their hunt for him will change how  LAPD to do business from now on.  They already have been penned corrupt with gang-like loyalty among the officers smeared with a lot of racism.  If anything else, he will shine the light on these unethical practices.  That is probably why Beck is so teary eyed cuz not only is his name on the hit list but his people can't seem to catch this guy and Dorner is cracking the department wide open for public scutunity.  Plus he is making them look like cowardly fools running around with no heads on.

I believe what this young brotha is saying.  It possibly could  have blew his mind to come out from the war with a honorable discharge and to transition into the police force[which is what military folks do once their service is completed] and discovered this good ole boy racist system that kept him out of the tight-nit blue brotherhood.  He was probably shocked after risking his life in Iraq and to come back and be treated like a ni$$ger in the police department.  He probably hurt him deep.    And personally, I don't think he was evaluated thoroughly enough to just jump back into another type of combat scenerio.  He should have some down time to re-enter society.  This didn't happen and I just think he was a walking time bomb.  And any disturbance to his psyche triggered a form of retaliation brewing.   And there are a lot of vets who come back to the states without help....just like this brotha.  The police department should have implemented a transitional system for post military candidates.  It is a smart thing to do since these folks have had to be gun happy in Iraq and Afganstan to protect themselves.  But the police department is saturated with mentally ill police officers who are not getting the proper psychological/psychiatry evaluations necessary to lead a normal life.   Many are still shelled shocked.

And to be fired based on something sooooooo pretty as to say he LIED on a claim against a citizen, to take away his ability to earn a living after being in a war-torn environment-not taking all this into consideration reveals largely how disorganized and not in touch with reality the police department really is.  They should have created a better method to handle individuals like him.  They should have known with this guy's background and training, it is POSSIBLE he was NOT going away without a fight!   He was one of them-and knows how to prepare his revenge against them and he has.  He is making fools out of what is supposed to be the best police unit in the country.  They are laughing stocks and is why the FBI and other forces had to come in.  And policemen are not the swiftist spoons in town and I think that's why Dorner was insulted.  I don't know whether his partner was white or a woman....but!  The police board decided to believe the partner and not him.   They should have given Dorner psychological HELP...first after this determination and then implement steps to slowly release him from the force.  But to do it this way?  And knowing he is not stable? Well....  This is why three people have been killed  and why  the police are still unable to catch him.  Cuz he is SMARTER than them.  And it's like watching a LIVE movie...but the so-called intelligent villian is a black man instead of a white man.

Dorner is currently running circles around the police department. He planned this to a tee.  The burning truck in Big Bear, the detective badge left in the parking lot and the badge of honor with bullet holes in it sent to Anderson Cooper....hell this is a movie.  But be sure...the police is gonna KILL him if they find him first.  I just think Dorner is gonna do a lot of damage before he is finally captured/killed or when he commits suicide after completing his task.  He's already indicated in his written "manifesto" that he is NOT afraid to die.  So what does that tell ya? I just pray that he comes to his senses and not kill more innocent people.  But!  At this point, only time will tell his next move.  But!

"But be sure...the police is gonna KILL him if they find him first."

*****************************************************************

You know they're going to kill him.  Unfortunately, this is racist White men's dream, to be able to hunt down a Black man and kill him. But, sadly this guy has went waaaay too far with his grievances [if he is really the one that has killed those people so far, and it's not LAPD setting him up, which I would not put past LAPD].

However, like you said, he probably was not ready and the military has not/is not giving these soldiers any down time to decompress from combat duty, and that is a damn shame.  It's like our military is just using our soldiers the same way a 'john' uses a prostitute and with the same amount of concern for their mental health, physical health and welfare.

I hate that this guy chose this route and that he felt that other people had to die for his grievances to be heard.

What's kinda interesting to me is that .... while it's abundantly apparent that this guy has severe mental problems (and can justifiably use his military deployment as an excuse!!!) .....

The fact that two different sets of police officers SHOT (to kill) AT INNOCENT PEOPLE ... no questions asked ... no confirmation that they had the right target .... just OPEN FIRE and shoot at somebody they THOUGHT might have been this guy .... shows a certain amount of "severe mental problems" ... by people who AREN'T supposed to have them!!

Those OTHER officers are supposed to be stable, professional, trustworthy to know what they're doing .... and NOT just go off all willy-nilly on innocent people because they're under stress/pressure or whatever!!

Every few years the LAPD is "exposed" for their systemic, illegal and corrupt "wrongdoing" ... (and validly so!!) .. that shows how "dirty" they are and continue to be .... always with the supposed "clean up" of the department that follows ... which never (and never will) totally make them good or legit!!

And whatever "bad stuff" this guy is trying show ... I hope he succeeds in at least doing that!!  The LAPD definitely deserves what he's putting them through!!!  But, I, too, hope that no more innocent people have to punished for him to get his point across.

Please explain how you figure that? Two totally different scenarios. Dorner did what he was supposed to do, there is evidence of what he was saying about the police officer's brutality was 100% true and the LAPD still covered up the abuse and kicked him out of the job while promoting the bad cop. I hope that they never find him and he finishes the majority of the job as laid out in his statement. I hope that he keeps the LAPD shook for a good minute.

Yep! And if you notice the police hasn't even APOLOGIZED for that mistake.

And during the press conference, Chief Beck never said sorry. He only indicated that it was an officer involved shooting[with the shooting of the women)....but! That's it. He never stated that it was they were the WRONG targets. Nor did he say that his men were trigger happy and anxious to get this black guy. . Nada. And this is what makes the police VERY VERY dangerous. And the media...this is what I hate about the media....DIDN'T point out the fact the police targetsa nyone driving a blue truck. They never convey that instead of the police targeting everyone, they should use their usual stop and investigate method when searching for a certain type of vehicle or suspect. The media said nothing and they are always looking for incompetence or some form of dirt to sensationized on. Nada.

LAPD dropped the ball. And continue to do so without the regard or consideration to public safety in which they are SUPPOSED to be serving. Now that they are on the other side of gun barrel, they're prepared to shoot any and everyone within their pathway to get to ONE black guy. Troublin...very!

And this is what this brotha is attempting to point out. The corruption and the back-stabbing....the master vs servant syndrome that has infested the entire police force nationwide. Some of these policemen have very disturbing mental regression. And comes from being prepared to kill and get killed by always looking over your shoulders and ready to fire at any given time. This tears at the normal psyche of humans who are NOT designed to kill [their own species-except for when trained]. Many times people like that cannot come out of that mind set and often suffers from some forn of mental break down when they no longer are active in that type of onguard violent behavior.

And whatever "bad stuff" this guy is trying show ... I hope he succeeds in at least doing that!!

Me too. Especially when he is killing people and willing to kill himself in an effort to do so.

The LAPD definitely deserves what he's putting them through!!!

I agree.

But, I, too, hope that no more innocent people have to punished for him to get his point across

Exactly. And his thinking in that is where the immaturity lies. Developmentally he hasn't been able to grasp on how his violent behavior isn't the appropriate way to "blow the whistle" on those he feels betrayed him and stabbed him in the back. In many ways, he is exhibiting a gang banging persona-which I have always penned a form psychotic need to belong...and when that doesn't happen, retaliation emerges....most times in a very violent way. Which is exactly the behavior is spewing currently. He is not thinking about others in the cross fire because his miltary training has conditioned him not to focus on the casualities of [his] war-innocent people! So for him, this war against the LAPD is on and cracking...with NOTHING to lose. But!

Here is what the brother is pissed about:

He has A WHOLE LOT on his mind and the media has already labeled this as "babble". I call it precise and articulate.

Regarding CF# 07-004281

I know most of you who personally know me are in disbelief to hear from media reports that I am suspected of committing such horrendous murders and have taken drastic and shocking actions in the last couple of days.

You are saying to yourself that this is completely out of character of the man you knew who always wore a smile wherever he was seen. I know I will be vilified by the LAPD and the media. Unfortunately, this is a necessary evil that I do not enjoy but must partake and complete for substantial change to occur within the LAPD and reclaim my name.

The department has not changed since the Rampart and Rodney King days. It has gotten worse. The consent decree should never have been lifted. The only thing that has evolved from the consent decree is those officers involved in the Rampart scandal and Rodney King incidents have since promoted to supervisor, commanders, and command staff, and executive positions.

The question is, what would you do to clear your name?

Name:

A word or set of words by which a person, animal, place, or thing is known, addressed, or referred to.

Name Synonyms;

Reputation, title, appellation, denomination, repute.

A name is more than just a noun, verb, or adjective. It’s your life, your legacy, your journey, sacrifices, and everything you’ve worked hard for every day of your life as and adolescent, young adult and adult. Don’t let anybody tarnish it when you know you’ve live up to your own set of ethics and personal ethos.

In 8/07 I reported an officer (Ofcr. XXXX/now a Sergeant), for kicking a suspect (excessive force) during a Use of Force while I was assigned as a patrol officer at LAPD’s Harbor Division.

While cuffing the suspect, (XXXX), XXXX kicked the suspect twice in the chest and once in the face. The kick to the face left a visible injury on the left cheek below the eye. Unfortunately after reporting it to supervisors and investigated by PSB (internal affairs investigator Det. XXXX), nothing was done.

I had broken their supposed “Blue Line”. Unfortunately, It’s not JUST US, it’s JUSTICE!!! In fact, 10 months later on 6/25/08, after already successfully completing probation, acquiring a basic Post Certificate, and Intermediate Post Certificate, I was relieved of duty by the LAPD while assigned to patrol at Southwest division.

It is clear as day that the department retaliated toward me for reporting XXXX for kicking Mr. XXXX. The department stated that I had lied and made up the report that XXXX had kicked the suspect. I later went to a Board of Rights (department hearing for decision of continued employment) from 10/08 to 1/09.

During this BOR hearing a video was played for the BOR panel where XXXX stated that he was indeed kicked by Officer XXXX (video sent to multiple news agencies). In addition to XXXX stating he was kicked, his father XXXX, also stated that his son had stated he was kicked by an officer when he was arrested after being released from custody.

This was all presented for the department at the BOR hearing. They still found me guilty and terminated me. What they didn’t mention was that the BOR panel made up of Capt. XXXX, Capt. XXXX, and City Attorney XXXX had a significant problem from the time the board was assembled.

Capt. XXXX was a personal friend of XXXX from when he was her supervisor at Harbor station. That is a clear conflict of interest and I made my argument for his removal early and was denied.

The advocate for the LAPD BOR was Sgt. XXXX. XXXX also had a conflict of interest as she was XXXX friend and former partner from Harbor division where they both worked patrol together. I made my argument for her removal when I discovered her relation to XXXX and it was denied.

During the BOR, the department attempted to label me unsuccessfully as a bully.

They stated that I had bullied a recruit, XXXX, in the academy when in reality and unfounded disposition from the official 1.28 formal complaint investigation found that I was the one who stood up for XXXX when other recruits sang nazi hitler youth songs about burning Jewish ghettos in WWII Germany where his father was a survivor of a concentration camp. How fucking dare you attempt to label me with such a nasty vile word.

I ask that all earnest journalist investigating this story ask Ofcr. XXXX about the incident when Ofcr. XXXX began singing a nazi youth song about burning jewish ghettos.

The internal affairs investigation in the academy involving XXXX was spurned by a complaint that I had initiated toward two fellow recruit/offifcers. While assigned patrol footbeat in Hollywood Division, Officers XXXX and XXXX (both current LAPD officers) decided that they would voice their personal feelings about the black community.

While traveling back to the station in a 12 passenger van I heard XXXX refer to another individual as a nigger.

I wasn’t sure if I heard correctly as there were many conversations in the van that was compiled of at least 8 officers and he was sitting in the very rear and me in the very front.

Even with the multiple conversations and ambient noise I heard Officer XXXX call an indivdual a nigger again. Now that I had confirmed it, I told XXXX not to use that word again.

I explained that it was a well-known offensive word that should not be used by anyone. He replied, “I’ll say it when I want”. Officer XXXX, a friend of his, also stated that he would say nigger when he wanted.

At that point I jumped over my front passenger seat and two other officers where I placed my hands around XXXXs’ neck and squeezed. I stated to XXXX, “Don’t fucking say that”. At that point there was pushing and shoving and we were separated by several other officers. What I should have done, was put a Winchester Ranger SXT 9mm 147 grain bullet in his skull and Officer XXXX’s skull.

The Situation would have been resolved effective, immediately. The sad thing about this incident was that when Detective XXXX from internal affairs investigated this incident only (1) officer (unknown) in the van other than myself had statements constistent with what actually happened.

The other six officers  all stated they heard nothing and saw nothing. Shame on every one of you. Shame on Detective XXXX (same ethnicity as XXXX) for creating a separate 1.28 formal complaint against me (XXXX complaint) in retaliation for initiating the complaint against XXXX and XXXX.

Don’t retaliate against honest officers for breaking your so-called blue line. I hope your son XXXX, who I knew, is a better officer than you, Detective XXXX. The saddest part of this ordeal was that Officer XXXX and XXXX were only given 22 day suspensions and are still LAPD officers to this day.

That day, the LAPD stated that it is acceptable for fellow officers to call black officers niggers to their face and you will receive a slap on the wrist. Even sadder is that during that 22 day suspension XXXX and XXXX received is that the LAPPL (Los Angeles Police Protective League) paid the officers their salaries while they were suspended. When I took a two-day suspension for an accidental discharge, I took my suspension and never applied for a league salary.

Its called integrity.

Journalist, I want you to investigate every location I resided in growing up. Find any incidents where I was ever accused of being a bully. You won’t, because it doesn’t exist. It’s not in my DNA.Never was.

I was the only black kid in each of my elementary school classes from first grade to seventh grade in junior high and any instances where I was disciplined for fighting was in response to fellow students provoking common childhood schoolyard fights, or calling me a nigger or other derogatory racial names.

I grew up in neighborhoods where blacks make up less than 1%. My first recollection of racism was in the first grade at Norwalk Christian elementary school in Norwalk, CA.

A fellow student, XXXX if I can recall, called me a nigger on the playground. My response was swift and non-lethal. I struck him fast and hard with a punch an kick. He cried and reported it to a teacher. The teacher reported it to the principal. The principal swatted XXXX for using a derogatory word toward me.

He then for some unknown reason swatted me for striking XXXX in response to him calling me a nigger. He stated as good Christians we are to turn the other cheek as Jesus did. Problem is, I’m not a fucking Christian and that old book, made of fiction and limited non-fiction, called the bible, never once stated Jesus was called a nigger.

How dare you swat me for standing up for my rights for demanding that I be treated as an equal human being. That day I made a life decision that i will not tolerate racial derogatory terms spoken to me. Unfortunately I was swatted multiple times for the same exact reason up until junior high.

Terminating me for telling the truth of a Caucasian officer kicking a mentally ill man is disgusting. Don’t ever call me a fucking bully. I want all journalist to utilize every source you have that specializes in collections for your reports. With the discovery and evidence available you will see the truth. Unfortunately,

I will not be alive to see my name cleared. That’s what this is about, my name. A man is nothing without his name. Below is a list of locations where I resided from childhood to adulthood.

Cerritos, CA.
Pico Rivera, CA.
La Palma, CA.
Thousand Oaks, CA.
Cedar City, UT.
Pensacola, FL.
Enid, OK.
Yorba Linda, CA.
Las Vegas, NV.

During the BOR an officer named, Sgt. XXXX, from Los Angeles Port Police testified on behalf of the LAPD. XXXX stated for the BOR that he arrived at the location of the UOF shortly before I cuffed the suspect.

He also stated that he assisted in cuffing the suspect and that’s old the BOR he told me to fix my tie. All of those statements were LIES!!! XXXX, you arrived at the UOF location up to 30 seconds after I had cuffed Mr.XXXX. All you did was help me lift the suspect to his feet as it was difficult for me to do by myself because of his heavy weight.

You did not tell me to fix my tie as the BOR members and everyone else in the room know you lied because the photographic evidence from the UOF scene where XXXX’s injuries were photographed clearly shows me wearing a class B uniform on that day. A class B uniform is a short sleeved uniform blouse. A short sleeved uniform blouse for the LAPD does not have a tie included. This is not Super Troopers uniform, you jackass.

Why did you feel the need to embellish and lie about your involvement in the UOF? Are you ashamed that you could not get hired on by any other department other than port police? Do you have delusions of grandeur? What you did was perjury, exactly what XXXX did when she stated she did not kick XXXX.

What they failed to mention in the BOR was XXXX own use of force history during her career on the LAPD. She has admitted that she has a lengthy use of force record and has been flagged several times by risk management. She has a very well known nickname, Chupacabra, which she was very proud to flaunt around the division.

She found it very funny and entertaining to draw blood from suspects and arrestees. At one point she even intentionally ripped the flesh off the arm of a woman we had arrested for battery (sprayed her neighbor with a garden water hose).

Knowing the woman had thin elastic skin, she performed and Indian burn to the woman’s arm after cuffing her. That woman was in her mid-70’s, a mother and grandmother, and was angry at her tenants who failed to pay rent on time.

Something I can completely understand and I am sure many have wanted to do toward tenants who do not pay their rent. XXXX was also demoted from a senior lead officer rank/position for performance issues.

During my two months of working patrol with XXXX, I found her as a woman who was very angry that she had been pulled from patrol for a short time because of a domestic violence report made by Long Beach Police Department because of an incident involving her active LAPD officer boyfriend, XXXX, and herself. XXXX is the same officer investigated for witness tampering.

She also was visibly angry on a daily basis that she was going to have to file for bankruptcy because her ex-husband, a former LAPD officer and not XXXX, who had left the department, state, and was nowhere to be found had left her with a tax bill and debt that she was unable to pay because of a lack of financial means. XXXX, you are a POS and you lied right to the BOR panel when XXXX asked you if you kicked XXXX. You destroyed my life and name because of your actions. Time is up. The time is now to confess to Chief Beck.

I ask that all journalist investigating this story submit request for FOIA with the LAPD to gain access to the BOR transcripts which occurred from 10/08 to 2/09.

There, you will see that a video was played for the BOR members of Mr. XXXX who suffers from Schizophrenia and Dementia stating that he was kicked by a female officer. That video evidence supports my claim that XXXX kicked him twice in the upper body and once in the face. I would like all journalist to also request copies of all reports that I had written while employed by LAPD. Whether in the academy, or during my 3 years as a police officer. There are DR#’s attached to each report (investigative report) that I have ever written so they all exist.

A FOIA request will most likely be needed to access these at Parker center or at the Personnel/Records. Judge my writin/grammar skills for yourself. The department attempted to paint me as an officer who could not write reports.

Even though Sgt. XXXX a training officer who trained me stated for the BOR panel that there was nothing wrong with my report writing and that I was better than all rookie/probationer officers he has ever trained. Officer XXXX stated the same but refused to testify as he did not want to “get involved” with the BOR’s.

Contact Sgt. XXXX ,(now a Captain at Lompoc PD), Sgt. XXXX, and Sgt. XXXX. All will state that my report writing was impeccable. I will tell you this, I always type my reports because I have messy handwriting/penmanship. I never had a single kickback/redlined report at Southwest division and Sgt. XXXX and Sgt. XXXX can testify to that.

I never received an UNSATISFACTORY on any day or week. The same can be said within the U.S. Naval Reserves. All commanders will state that my report writing was always clear, concise, and impeccable. Even search my AAR (after action reports),chits, Memorandum’s, IIR’s (Intelligence Information Reports) which were written in the Navy. All were pristine.

I had worked patrol at LAPD’s Harbor Division from 2/06 until 7/06 when I was involuntarily recalled back to active duty (US Navy) for a 12 month mobilization/deployment to Centcom in support of OIF/OEF. I returned back to LAPD’s Harbor division on 7/07 and immediately returned to patrol. I worked at Harbor division until 11/07 where I then transferred to Southwest Division.

I worked At Southwest division until 6/25/08 when I was relieved of duty.

I have exhausted all available means at obtaining my name back. I have attempted all legal court efforts within appeals at the Superior Courts and California Appellate courts.

This is my last resort. The LAPD has suppressed the truth and it has now lead to deadly consequences. The LAPD’s actions have cost me my law enforcement career that began on 2/7/05 and ended on 1/2/09.

They cost me my Naval career which started on 4/02 and ends on 2/13. I had a TS/SCI clearance(Top Secret Sensitive Compartmentalized Information clearance) up until shortly after my termination with LAPD.

This is the highest clearance a service member can attain other than a Yankee White TS/SCI which is only granted for those working with and around the President/Vice President of the United States.

I lost my position as a Commanding Officer of a Naval Security Forces reserve unit at NAS Fallon because of the LAPD. I’ve lost a relationship with my mother and sister because of the LAPD.

I’ve lost a relationship with close friends because of the LAPD. In essence, I’ve lost everything because the LAPD took my name and new I was INNOCENT!!!  XXXX, XXXX, XXXX , and XXXX all new I was innocent but decided to terminate me so they could continue Ofcr. XXXX.

I know about the meeting between all of you where XXXX attorney, XXXX, confessed that she kicked XXXX (excessive force). Your day has come.

I’m not an aspiring rapper, I’m not a gang member, I’m not a dope dealer, I don’t have multiple babies momma’s. I am an American by choice, I am a son, I am a brother, I am a military service member, I am a man who has lost complete faith in the system, when the system betrayed, slandered, and libeled me.

I lived a good life and though not a religious man I always stuck to my own personal code of ethics, ethos and always stuck to my shoreline and true North.

I didn’t need the US Navy to instill Honor, Courage, and Commitment in me but I thank them for re-enforcing it. It’s in my DNA.

Luckily I don’t have to live everyday like most of you.

Concerned if the misconduct you were apart of is going to be discovered. Looking over your shoulder, scurrying at every phone call from internal affairs or from the Captains office wondering if that is the day PSB comes after you for the suspects you struck when they were cuffed months/years ago or that $500 you pocketed from the narcotics dealer, or when the other guys on your watch beat a transient nearly to death and you never reported the UOF to the supervisor. No, I don’t have that concern, I stood up for what was right but unfortunately have dealt with the reprocussions of doing the right thing and now losing my name and everything I ever stood for.

You fuckers knew XXXX was guilty of kicking (excessive force) XXXX and you did nothing but get rid of what you saw as the problem, the whistleblower. XXXX himself stated on video tape ( provided for the BOR and in transcripts) he was kicked and even his father stated that his son said he was kicked by XXXX when he was released from custody.

The video was played for the entire BOR to hear. You’re going to see what a whistleblower can do when you take everything from him especially his NAME!!!

Look what you did to Sgt. XXXX (now lieutenant) when he exposed the truth of your lying, racism, and PSB cover-ups to frame and convict an innocent man. You can not police yourselves and the consent decree was unsuccessful. Sgt. XXXX, I met you on the range several times as a recruit and as an officer. You’re a good man and I saw it in your eyes an actions.

Self Preservation is no longer important to me. I do not fear death as I died long ago on 1/2/09. I was told by my mother that sometimes bad things happen to good people. I refuse to accept that.

From 2/05 to 1/09 I saw some of the most vile things humans can inflict on others as a police officer in Los Angeles. Unfortunately, it wasn’t in the streets of LA. It was in the confounds of LAPD police stations and shops (cruisers).

The enemy combatants in LA are not the citizens and suspects, it’s the police officers.

People who live in glass houses should not throw stones. How ironic that you utilize a fixed glass structure as your command HQ. You use as a luminous building to symbolize that you are transparent, have nothing to hide, or suppress when in essence, concealing, omitting, and obscuring is your forte.

Chief Beck, this is when you need to have that come to Jesus talk with Sgt. XXXX and everyone else who was involved in the conspiracy to have me terminated for doing the right thing. you also need to speak with her attorney, Rico, and his conversation with the BOR members and her confession of guilt in kicking Mr. XXXX. I’ll be waiting for a PUBLIC response at a press conference. When the truth comes out, the killing stops.

Why didn’t you charge me with filing a false police report when I came forward stating that XXXX kicked Mr. XXXX? You file criminal charges against every other officer who is accused and terminated for filing a false police report. You didn’t because you knew I was innocent and a criminal court would find me innocent and expose your department for suppressing the truth and retaliation, that’s why.

The attacks will stop when the department states the truth about my innocence, PUBLICLY!!! I will not accept any type of currency/goods in exchange for the attacks to stop, nor do i want it. I want my name back, period.

There is no negotiation. I am not the state department who states they do not negotiate with terrorist, because anybody with a Secret or TS/SCI has seen IIR’s on SIPR and knows that the US state department always negotiates by using CF countries or independent sovereign/neutral country to mediate and compromising.

This department has not changed from the Daryl Gates and Mark Fuhrman days. Those officers are still employed and have all promoted to Command staff and supervisory positions. I will correct this error. Are you aware that an officer (a rookie/probationer at the time) seen on the Rodney King videotape striking Mr. King multiple times with a baton on 3/3/91 is still employed by the LAPD and is now a Captain on the police department? Captain XXXX is now the commanding officer of a LAPD police station (West LA division).

As a commanding officer, he is now responsible for over 200 officers. Do you trust him to enforce department policy and investigate use of force investigations on arrestees by his officers?

Are you aware XXXX has since promoted to Sergeant after kicking Mr. XXXX in the face. Oh, you Violated a citizens civil rights? We will promote you. Same as LAPD did with the officers from Metro involved in the May Day melee at MacArthur Park. They promoted them to Sergeant (a supervisor role).

No one is saying you can’t be prejudiced or a bigot. We are all human and hold prejudices. If you state that you don’t have prejudices, your lying! But, when you act on it and victimize innocent citizens and fellow innocen officers, than that is a concern.

For you officers who do the job in the name of JUSTICE, those of you who lost honest officers to this event, look at the name of those on the BOR and the investigating officers from PSB and XXXX and ask them, how come you couldn’t tell the truth? Why did you terminate an honest officer and cover for a dishonest officer who victimized a mentally ill citizen.

Sometimes humans feel a need to prove they are the dominant race of a species and they inadvertently take kindness for weakness from another individual. You chose wrong.

Terminating officers because they expose a culture of lying, racism (from the academy), and excessive use of force will immediately change. PSB can not police their own and that has been proven. The blue line will forever be severed and a cultural change will be implanted. You have awoken a sleeping giant.

I am here to change and make policy. The culture of LAPD versus the community and honest/good officers needs to and will change. I am here to correct and calibrate your morale compasses to true north.

Those Caucasian officers who join South Bureau divisions (77th,SW,SE, an Harbor) with the sole intent to victimize minorities who are uneducated, and unaware of criminal law, civil law, and civil rights. You prefer the South bureau because a use of force/deadly force is likely and the individual you use UOF on will likely not report it. You are a high value target.

Those Black officers in supervisory ranks and pay grades who stay in south bureau (even though you live in the valley or OC) for the sole intent of getting retribution toward subordinate caucasians officers for the pain and hostile work environment their elders inflicted on you as probationers (P-1′s) and novice P-2’s. You are a high value target. You perpetuated the cycle of racism in the department as well. You breed a new generation of bigoted caucasian officer when you belittle them and treat them unfairly.

Those Hispanic officers who victimize their own ethnicity because they are new immigrants to this country and are unaware of their civil rights. You call them wetbacks to their face and demean them in front of fellow officers of different ethnicities so that you will receive some sort of acceptance from your colleagues. I’m not impressed. Most likely, your parents or grandparents were immigrants at one time, but you have forgotten that. You are a high value target.

Those lesbian officers in supervising positions who go to work, day in day out, with the sole intent of attempting to prove your misandrist authority (not feminism) to degrade male officers. You are a high value target.

Those Asian officers who stand by and observe everything I previously mentioned other officers participate in on a daily basis but you say nothing, stand for nothing and protect nothing. Why? Because of your usual saying, ” I……don’t like conflict”. You are a high value target as well.

Those of you who “go along to get along” have no backbone and destroy the foundation of courage. You are the enablers of those who are guilty of misconduct. You are just as guilty as those who break the code of ethics and oath you swore.

Citizens/non-combatants, do not render medical aid to downed officers/enemy combatants. They would not do the same for you. They will let you bleed out just so they can brag to other officers that they had a 187 caper the other day and can’t wait to accrue the overtime in future court subpoenas. As they always say, “that’s the paramedics job…not mine”. Let the balance of loss of life take place. Sometimes a reset needs to occur.

It is endless the amount of times per week officers arrest an individual, label him a suspect-arrestee-defendant and then before arraignment or trial realize that he is innocent based on evidence. You know what they say when they realize an innocent man just had his life turned upside down?. “I guess he should have stayed at home that day he was discovered walking down the street and matching the suspects description. Oh well, he appeared to be a dirtbag anyways”. Meanwhile the falsely accused is left to pick up his life, get a new, family, friends, and sense of self worth.

Don’t honor these fallen officers/dirtbags. When your family members die, they just see you as extra overtime at a crime scene and at a perimeter. Why would you value their lives when they clearly don’t value yours or your family members lives? I’ve heard many officers who state they see dead victims as ATV’s, Waverunners, RV’s and new clothes for their kids.

Why would you shed a tear for them when they in return crack a smile for your loss because of the impending extra money they will receive in their next paycheck for sitting at your loved ones crime scene of 6 hours because of the overtime they will accrue.

They take photos of your loved ones recently deceased bodies with their cellphones and play a game of who has the most graphic dead body of the night with officers from other divisions. This isn’t just the 20 something year old officers, this is the 50 year old officers with significant time on the job as well who participate.

You allow an officer, XXXX, to attempt to hack into my credit union account and still remain on the job even when Det. XXXX shows the evidence that the IP address (provided by LAPFCU) that attempted to hack into my account and change my username and password leads directly to her residence.

You even allow this visibly disgusting looking officer to stay on the job when she perjures (lies) in court (Clark County Family Court) to the judge’s face and denies hacking into my personal credit union online account when I attempted to get my restraint order extended. Det. XXXX provided the evidence and you still do nothing.

How do you know when a police officer is lying??? When he begins his sentence with, “based on my experience and training”.

No one grows up and wants to be a cop killer. It was against everything I’ve ever was. As a young police explorer I found my calling in life. But, As a young police officer I found that the violent suspects on the street are not the only people you have to watch. It is the officer who was hired on to the department (pre-2000) before polygraphs were standard for all new hires and a substantial vetting in a backround investigation.

To those children of the officers who are eradicated, your parent was not the individual you thought they were. As you get older, you will see the evidence that your parent was a tyrant who loss their ethos and instead followed the path of moral corruptness.

They conspired to hide and suppress the truth of misconduct on others behalf’s. Your parent will have a name and plaque on the fallen officers memorial in D.C. But, In all honesty, your parents name will be a reminder to other officers to maintain the oath they swore and to stay along the shoreline that has guided them from childhood to that of a local, state, or federal law enforcement officer.

Your lack of ethics and conspiring to wrong a just individual are over.
Suppressing the truth will leave to deadly consequences for you and your family. There will be an element of surprise where you work, live, eat, and sleep. I will utilize ISR at your home, workplace, and all locations in between. I will utilize OSINT to discover your residences, spouses workplaces, and children’s schools. IMINT to coordinate and plan attacks on your fixed locations.

Its amazing whats on NIPR. HUMINT will be utilized to collect personal schedules of targets. I never had the opportunity to have a family of my own, I’m terminating yours. XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, and BOR members Look your wives/husbands and surviving children directly in the face and tell them the truth as to why your children are dead.

Never allow a LAPPL union attorney to be a retired LAPD Captain,(XXXX). He doesn’t work for you, your interest, or your name. He works for the department, period. His job is to protect the department from civil lawsuits being filed and their best interest which is the almighty dollar. His loyalty is to the department, not his client. Even when he knowingly knows your innocent and the BOR also knows your innocent after XXXX stated on videotape that he was kicked and XXXX attorney confessed to the BOR off the record that she kicked XXXX.

The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants-TJ. This quote is not directed toward the US government which I fully support 100%. This is toward the LAPD who can not monitor itself. The consent decree should not have been lifted, ever.

I know your TTP’s, (techniques, tactics, and procedures). Any threat assessments you generate will be useless. This is simple, I know your TTP’s and PPR’s. I will mitigate any of your attempts at preservation. ORM is my friend.

I will mitigate all risks, threats and hazards. I assure you that Incident Command Posts will be target rich environments. KMA-367 license plate frames are great target indicators and make target selection even easier.

I will conduct DA operations to destroy, exploit and seize designated targets. If unsuccessful or unable to meet objectives in these initial small-scale offensive actions, I will reassess my BDA and re-attack until objectives are met. I have nothing to lose. My personal casualty means nothing. Just alike AAF’s, ACM’s, and AIF’s, you can not prevail against an enemy combatant who has no fear of death. An enemy who embraces death is a lose, lose situation for their enemy combatants.

Hopefully you analyst have done your homework. You are aware that I have always been the top shot, highest score, an expert in rifle qualifications in every unit I’ve been in. I will utilize every bit of small arms training, demolition, ordnance, and survival training I’ve been given.

Do you know why we are unsuccessful in asymmetrical and guerrilla warfare in CENTCOM theatre of operations? I’ll tell you. It’s not the inefficiency of our combatant commanders, planning, readiness or training of troops. Much like the Vietnam war, ACM, AAF, foreign fighters, Jihadist, and JAM have nothing to lose. They embrace death as it is a way of life. I simply don’t fear it. I am the walking exigent circumstance you created.

The Violence of action will be HIGH. I am the reason TAC alert was established. I will bring unconventional and asymmetrical warfare to those in LAPD uniform whether on or off duty. ISR is my strength and your weakness. You will now live the life of the prey.

Your RD’s and homes away from work will be my AO and battle space. I will utilize every tool within INT collections that I learned from NMITC in Dam Neck. You have misjudged a sleeping giant.

There is no conventional threat assessment for me. JAM, New Ba’ath party, 1920 rev BGE, ACM, AAF, AQAP, AQIM and AQIZ have nothing on me. Do not deploy airships or gunships. SA-7 Manpads will be waiting. As you know I also own Barrett .50′s so your APC are defunct and futile.

You better have all your officers radio/phone muster (code 1) on or off duty every hour, on the hour.

Do not attempt to shadow or conduct any type of ISR on me. I have the inventory listing of all UC vehicles at Piper Tech and the home addresses of any INT analyst at JRIC and detachment locations. My POA is always POI and always true.

This will be a war of attrition and a Pyrrhic and Camdean Victory for myself. You may have the resources and manpower but you are reactive and predictable in your op plans and TTP’s. I have the strength and benefits of being unpredictable, unconventional, and unforgiving. Do not waste your time with briefs and tabletops.

(KTLA has removed the names of a number of officers to protect their families.)

Wow!  Uh oh.  LAPD is speciifically HIS target.  This young brotha ain't playin.  I bet he is in the bowels of the hood ready to strike at ANY given moment.  As I said earlier I believe him.  And now that I was able to analyze his writing...all I can say is,,,he is targeting EVERYONE on the LAPD force from the oreo-black officers to the lesbian officers.  What he says is true, the constant decree should have NEVER been lifted.  And I know that police officers are under a lot of pressure/stress but many of 'em join the force mainly to KILL,

Additionally, Dorner is tooooo detailed not to be telling the truth.  And I do think he snapped when he saw the evil/racists get away with brutality/lies when all he wanted to do was the right thing....in the interim they slaughter him in the process.  This type of thing  has been going on toooooooo long.  And I am tooooo sure that before it is all over, LAPD's heads are gonna roll.  Cuz Cali police have been getting away with unethical abuses toward the citizens for toooo long ....and the all the govt does is sweep it under  the rug and hope it goes away...but!  It is NOT going away...not this time.   And I believe him when he says the bad cops have been promoted and are now in leadership positions.  I believe that.  Cuz the brutality still exist.  It all makes sense.

And I think he just snapped cuz all that he believed in as a child was shown to him as the biggest LIE.  And he seems to have SEEN tooooo much in service as a soldier....and now understands what he must do to regain his name.  It ain't gonna be pretty.  I just hope he revisits harming family members and children.  But it seems he has planned this out since 2009.  So this is 3 years in the making.....three years of coordinating, arranging, researching and PLANNING all the steps needed to get the upper hand and keep it.  Uh. oh.  LAPD got its hands FULL.  But!

Quote by Yemaya: " wouldn't you know the media, the city and police are all doing exactly what he said they would do, which gives even more credence to all of what he has said. Crazy he is definitely not. More like pissed the f*ck off."

The LAPD are on a seek, kill and destroy mission AND WILL NOT try and take Christopher Dorner alive even if he surrenders because what the LAPD fears more than dead cops and dead family members is a living Chris Dorner who will totally expose the LAPD from top to bottom,

In their hunt, this is what they have done:

An attorney representing two women who were delivering newspapers when they were shot by police during a massive manhunt for an ex-LAPD officer called the incident "unacceptable," saying his clients looked nothing like the suspect.

Emma Hernandez, 71, was delivering the Los Angeles Times with her daughter, Margie Carranza, 47, in the 19500 block of Redbeam Avenue in Torrance on Thursday morning when Los Angeles police detectives apparently mistook their pickup for that of Christopher Dorner, the 33-year-old fugitive suspected of killing three people and injuring two others.

Hernandez, who attorney Glen T. Jonas said was shot twice in the back, was in stable condition late Thursday. Carranza received stitches on her finger.

"The problem with the situation is it looked like the police had the goal of administering street justice and in so doing, didn't take the time to notice that these two older, small Latina women don't look like a large black man," Jonas said.

http://latimesblogs.latimes.co...spaper-carriers.html

Plus they also arrested a Black man and detained him because he fit the description.

The LAPD is more scared and nervous for their own asses than concerned about the human life of their fellow officers and family members and the LAPD should be watched in this situation at all times looking for Chris Dorner because I sense the law will be broken by the LAPD.

Wow.

If only he had used his intelligence and extensive knowledge in some other way. He is speaking the truth about LAPD (really nearly every police department in America).  However, at this point he is defeating his own purpose.

America really does need to reign in police brutality, harassment and corruption, torture and murders or it is all going to come to a head one day, with the difference being that it won't be one lone man, but, will be thousands of people that have become fed up with all of the police cover-ups, brutality, tortures and murders of American citizens, of African Americans, of America's minorities, of poor White people, of America's youth, and even of America's senior citizens and America's mentally ill.

It's as if many of America's police departments are run by psychopaths and sociopaths that just hire and promote more psychopaths and sociopaths.  Many of America's police and police departments are no more than deadly gangs run amok.  They are trying to break Americans, and train Americans, to bow down to police and to be too afraid to stand up for their Civil and Constitutional Rights against a police officer, or a police department; and so far it seems that they are being successful.

LAPD to re-examine disciplinary action that led to ex-cop's rampage.

Police continue to search the San Bernadino Mountains for former LAPD officer Christopher Dorner, suspected of killing three people.

BIG BEAR LAKE, Calif. —  The hunt in the snowy mountains for a former Los Angeles police officer suspected in three killings continued Saturday as police announced they will reopen the disciplinary proceedings that led to the fugitive's firing.

Officials will re-examine Christopher Dorner's allegations that his law enforcement career was undone by racist colleagues, Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck told KCBS-TV. He also urged Dorner to surrender.

"If he was to give himself up, we'd be happy to hear what he has to say," Beck said.

Authorities suspect Dorner in a series of attacks in Southern California over the past several days that left three people dead, including a police officer. Authorities say he has vowed revenge against several former LAPD colleagues who he blamed for ending his career.

A scaled-back search party took advantage of a break from stormy weather Saturday to hunt for Dorner in the San Bernardino mountains using heat-sensing helicopters. Officers also fanned out in fresh snow near Big Bear Lake as vacationing families and weekend skiers frolicked nearby.

The manhunt didn't appear to bother the majority of tourists intent on enjoying Saturday's perfect winter weather, which made for strikingly odd contrasts: the sound of barking bloodhounds mixed with rap music blaring off the ski slopes; a family with kids strolling by a deputy, who was clad in full tactical gear and practicing his aim on a small snowdrift.

San Bernardino County sheriff's Detective Chad Johnson said he and others were intent on finding Dorner but also looking for other telltale signs of his whereabouts.

"There's a million clues in the mountain. You've just got to be patient to find them," Johnson said.

Johnson said the search includes mountainous areas that are very steep and high climbs that often end in cliffs.

"It's a challenging day of work," he said.

Saturday was the third full day of the massive multi-agency effort now centered on this resort town about 80 miles northeast of downtown Los Angeles where Dorner's burned-out pickup truck was discovered Thursday. A law enforcement officer said Saturday that authorities found weapons in the truck.

Investigators are trying to determine whether Dorner, 33, torched the truck or if it caught fire for other reasons.

The search once included 125 officers but that number was reduced to 50 on Saturday, according to the sheriff's office.

Officers have been going door to door examining hundreds of vacant cabins, aware that they could be walking into a trap set by the well-trained former Navy reservist who knows their tactics and strategies.

"Christopher Dorner is probably one of the most dangerous fugitives that law enforcement has gone after in recent times," said Clint Van Zandt, former supervisor of FBI's profiling unit. "The challenge is, with his law enforcement and military background, he's very competent with weapons."

Sheriff's Detective Jeremiah MacKay, who began his patrol at 5 a.m. Saturday, said the operation was both massive and tactically complex.

"This one you just never know if the guy's going to pop out, or where he's going to pop out. We're hoping this comes to a close without more casualties. The best thing would be for him to give up," MacKay said.

On Friday night, authorities served a search warrant and collected evidence from a Buena Park storage unit as part of their investigation. Irvine police Lt. Julia Engen wouldn't elaborate on the nature of the evidence or say who had rented the unit.

Earlier Friday, another warrant was served at a La Palma house belonging to Dorner's mother. Officers collected 10 bags of evidence, including five electronic items.

Capt. Phil Tingirides, Named In Christopher Dorner's Manifesto,

Hasn't Left House.

Christopher Dorner and Capt. Phil Tingirides

Phil Tingirides
US Marshals deputies guard the home of Christopher Dorner's mother in La Palma, Calif. on Feb. 8 as a manhunt was underway for the suspect in three murders.

SANTA ANA, Calif. -- A Los Angeles police captain who's been named as a target in a fugitive former cop's online manifesto says he is taking the threat against him seriously.

Capt. Phil Tingirides tells the Orange County Register (http://bit.ly/Y0rukd) that he hasn't been able to leave his home since he learned Christopher Dorner was seeking revenge against former LAPD colleagues that Dorner blames for ending his career.

Authorities suspect Dorner killed three people, including the daughter of a retired police captain who had represented Dorner in the disciplinary proceedings that led to his firing.

Tingirides chaired a board that stripped Dorner of his badge.

He says he's concerned for the safety of his family after seeing what Dorner is accused of doing to the daughter of former Capt. Randy Quan.

Hmmmm .... I'm not so sure about that, Sunnubian!!

While his "purpose" definitely seems to have injected an unfortunate "psychotic" route .... with the killing of those innocent people .... just to make a point (or whatever his "intent" actually was) .... it seems to me that that "purpose" was total and complete and undeniable EXPOSURE of the LAPD that would not be ignored .... nor be able to be 'swept under the rug' by the police department ... or anybody else for that matter!!

Simply writing that "manifesto" didn't necessarily guarantee that he would 1) be taken seriously; 2) Anyone would truly understand the corruption that goes on there; 3) that there would be a proper and thorough investigation of his allegations; or 4)

Unfortunately .... killing those people GUARANTEED that not only would he be taken seriously .... but that EVERYBODY in the WORLD would have all eyes on what he had to say (reading and sharing his writing) ... AND that he would cause very REAL fear and terror for the LAPD (having killed already, those that he threatened in his manifesto have EVERY reason to believe that they will be NEXT ... and that will continue until he's caught and killed!!

Every news agency, citizens group, victims rights group and other government agencies (especially the Feds)  now have all the ammunition they need to dig deep into the workings of the LAPD. (And hopefully they will find even more "dirt" that he exposed already!!)  AND there are now also millions of people who KNOW what's going on inside that department, as well.

While ALL (police eyes) are directed at finding Dorner .... ALL of a lot of OTHER eyes are looking at - and into - the workings of the LAPD!!    And the thoughtless shooting at/of those two poor Latina women just trying to deliver newspapers ... proves even more that what he says (and more) is totally 100% TRUE!!

Had he not killed those people (and I wish he hadn't) .... the likelihood is that the police would have found, shot and killed him (he's gonna die either way it goes) ... and then tried to dismiss his rantings as that of a "psychotic ex-vet" whose accusations were totally baseless.

Now ... there's waaaaayyyyyy too many other people that are going to try to follow this story (and his accusations) down to every last detail to get to the bottom of it!!

Personally .... I truly hope he's away sitting on a Caribbean beach right now ... watching this manhunt and the fear and terror he's causing to his ex-coworkers ... drinking something with an umbrella in it .... and never to be seen again!

I DON'T know what's wrong with my computer....but!  I am resubmitting my comment in large print just in case  it does it again.

A story on CNN website yesterday was written in a blatant attempt to paint this man as a "bad guy" and to try to garner sympathy for the LAPD. It talked about how much the LAPD has changed since the Rodney King Riot days ... and the Rampart Division scandal that was exposed after a police officer got caught stealing drugs and then "ratted out" several of his fellow officers. The story ended with something like "Because of his actions, public opinion will probably sway more with the police department than with him."

But ... when you actually read the "Comments" from "the public" .... there was not ONE person who expresses ANY type of sympathy for the LAPD!!    And, in fact, many of the posts BLASTED the CNN writer for what was an OBVIOUS attempt to turn attention away from what this guy had to say about the police ... and to try to make people feel sorry for what he was putting the PD through!!

And EVERY L.A. resident that had something to say was very much it total agreement with Dorner about how they do - and have done - innocent people for decades.  No one seemed to notice any "change" in tactics by the department. To many people, he was considered a "hero."

You're right my sista.  He is a hero cuz a lot of folks in LA cannot STAND LAPD for one reason or another.  They have been arrogance for far tooooo long.  I was listening to Beck and I just didn't believe what he was saying to Pat Harvey.  It seems he's trying to avoid another Rodney King...cuz residents here are willing to hide Dorner...no matter the 1 million dollars over his head.  And that's the truth.  LAPD has done toooooooo much dirt and whatever they are trying to do in this scenerio still...they cannot wash the stain of racism against African Americans off the hands.   So longstory short, LAPD is not getting any SYMPATHY/EMPATHY from Angelenos.  Many are enjoying seeing them scrambled and buying popcorn in buckets...to sit and watch how the tough take no prisoners LAPD get themselves outta this mess. But!

I don't know which is worse, the LAPD, the NYPD or the NOPD(New Orleans).  They all need to be investigated by the Justice Department and by the IRS.

Hey I had to do some digging on this story... I have to say I support this guy 1000%. The LAPD needs to feel the fear that they put into the community for decades and SPECIFICALLY the Black community.

Those OTHER officers are supposed to be stable, professional, trustworthy to know what they're doing .... and NOT just go off all willy-nilly on innocent people because they're under stress/pressure or whatever!!

But!

(KTLA News has removed the names of a number of officers to protect their families.)

From: Christopher Jordan Dorner /7648

Name Synonyms;

This is my HOPE too!  I am also hoping that maybe he is hidden underground with all the survival necessarities for a couple of years....and just watch LAPD scrambled to find him.  During that time, investigations upon investigations are gonna be in place cuz as you say FOLKS are now watching LAPD more than ever!  And no matter how they try to label Dorner as a psychotic ex-vet, there is no way they can DISMISS the truth he has revisited.  Cuz everybody KNOWS that LAPD has been corrupt for many years now.  He is just making SURE folks don't FORGET LAPD's violent history especially their racist bruality against African Americans.  And I think he's achieiving that.  But!

* I am wondering if they will ever find this guy alive.  There is some media outlets stating that the US is using drone planes to locate/kill him.  I don't think the government is really looking for justice in this case.  He is an alleged killer, which needs to to verified in court in order to be confirmed.

But!

Hey I had to do some digging on this story... I have to say I support this guy 1000%. The LAPD needs to feel the fear that they put into the community for decades and SPECIFICALLY the Black community.

Yep! And if you notice the police hasn't even APOLOGIZED for that mistake.

Those OTHER officers are supposed to be stable, professional, trustworthy to know what they're doing .... and NOT just go off all willy-nilly on innocent people because they're under stress/pressure or whatever!!

Christopher Dorner's maniifesto (Full Text): (Disturbing Content and Language)

(KTLA News has removed the names of a number of officers to protect their families.)

Name Synonyms;

Here it is again,

But!

Just in.  Civil rights attorney [black woman] (interviewed on the news) is trying to say that the LAPD is not the Darryl Gates shoot up cowboys LAPD.  It is now Chief Beck's LAPD who is conscious of the relationship between the African American citizens and the police force.  She stated that the Dorner case has brought back the old distrustful feelings of LAPD  from the black community and this isn't what Chief Beck wants. She tries to convey that it is a new LAPD and old LAPD is long gone.   Is she believeable?  Helllllll nawl.  She is a part of the LAPD strategy to win back black support....which is slowly unraveling.   I went to Los Angeles today and saw police cars with two officers inside-one riding shotgun.  I didn't see a motorcycle cop hiding behind the wall near the freeway exit of the 110-like I usually do.  So you know what this means........right?  But!

More info on Dorner. Don't believe a damn thing the Mainstream media is telling you about this case. Now the police are using drones, not helicopters, to track down U.S. citizens. Do you really believe this nonsense about Dorner being captured or will he be murdered by a drone. Welcome to what we have become. . .

Man, I just wish that he had not taken anyone's life.

Didn't the LAPD investigate this case before? Since 2008. . . and in their investigation they ended up promoting the abusive officer and no one was punished except the guy who spoke out. I don't trust the LAPD to investigate anything regarding the incident and subsequent actions of their department afterwards.

I also would like to revisit this business with him being tracked by an attack drone, because that's what the LAPD is doing with the blessing IMO of the federal government via the stipulations in the U.S.A. Patriot ACT. We are in a mess and most people just don't realize it.

Not all drones are "attack" drones.  In fact, some of them do not have the capacity to shoot and/or kill.  Some of them are just used for "surveillance" and have special cameras on them (night vision, etc.) ... which, as I understand it, is the kind that was used for this situation.

Also, in the drone debate about whether or not to target and kill American citizens with one ..... the argument is VERY SPECIFICALLY and NARROWLY FOCUSED on whether or not to use them to kill American citizens that have pledged their allegiance to the Taliban/al Qaeda regime and have threatened or actively participated in the killing of other Americans.

For whatever reason, people who oppose that debate leave that part out!!  But ... in any and all legitimate discussions .... both opponents and proponents acknowledge that very important fact .... because, to be completely honest, there's no debate about "drones killing Americans" WITHOUT that very specific factor.  It is as much a part of the discussion as the actual physical "drone" itself.

Additionally .... the use of drones are not specific to the United States.  Russia was using them as far back as WWII.  And Canada has had a bigger drone program than the United States for a while now!!  Not only that ... but, you or I can purchase what is technically a "drone" for personal or amusement purposes.  They're essentially unmanned aerial aircraft.  Smaller versions are sold as toys.

Now .... I DEFINITELY agree with any debate as to the government using them to spy on (innocent) people (i.e., as they are authorized here under the Patriot Act) and wholeheartedly believe that there should be a MAJOR discussion (and ultimate denial) on whether or not they should be used for that purpose!!  The military has outfitted them with cameras, recording devices and all other manner of "illegal surveillance" capabilities!!!   And I am on the "bandwagon" when it comes to opposition on that ground.

But ... I also have NO PROBLEM with the prospect of killing A-N-Y-B-O-D-Y of ANY nationality that has made a public declaration of wanting to kill ME because of MY nationality!!  Or ethnicity.  If the "American" in question was a KKK member - on American soil - that was threatening or conducting a racial war against Black people .... I would hope the President - ANY President - in any year, at any time - would not hesitate to blast the HELL out of them ... and take him/her out with no regrets!
