Check out the GM Hy-wire concept car. Imagine having a car where on day it's a sports coupe and the next day it's a mini-van. All the functions of the car (braking, accelerating, rear-view,etc.) are stored in a hand-held game type steering wheel that can be swapped between those inside the car (sounds handy for passengers who like to complain).
