AFRICAN AMERICA IS AT WAR

THERE IS A RACE WAR ON AFRICAN AMERICA

THERE IS A RACE WAR ON AFRICAN AMERICANS

THERE IS A RACE WAR ON BLACK PEOPLE IN AMERICA

AMERICA'S RACISTS HAVE INFILTRATED AMERICAN POLICE FORCES TO WAGE A RACE WAR AGAINST BLACK PEOPLE IN AMERICA

THE BLACK RACE IS AT WAR

FIRST WORLD WAR:  THE APPROXIMATELY 6,000 YEAR WORLD WAR ON AFRICA AND THE BLACK RACE

Original Post

And you can't get that message out the Black people to save your life.  The American food supply is probably about 80% poisonous, between the pesticides, man-made chemicals, feeding livestock penicillin, animal hormones, pesticides and foods that the animals do not naturally eat (remember mad-cow disease happened because they actually were feeding cows that are herbivores meat products).  Not to mention how the our politicians and the supreme court have made it were food producers do not  have to label whether or not the food is "genetically engineered".  It is all the same with seafood, particularly local and foreign seafood, where the rivers, streams and oceans have been dumping grounds for toxic waste, chemical run-off and God know what "fracking" is leaching out.  All this is the reason why so many Americans are sick, overweight, have chronic disease, high rates of mental illness, ADHD and autism.  But, as long as the people that enact the laws and make deals and secret deals with corporate farm industries and Big Pharma and Big Oil, etc., can afford to eat healthy organic, non-toxic food and drink and have access to the best healthcare in the world at the taxpayers expense, America will continue down this road to a "SOYLENT GREEN" food supply.

I try to buy organic (and pray that it really is organic) as much as possible and purchase  wild Alaska seafood.  I am also trying my hand at growing whatever I can (baby steps); right now I have two tomato plants that seem to be doing quite well.  I'm setting out much more next week on my mother's property, even though it's late in the growing season, down south, the weather stays hot so long into the fall, it really doesn't matter.

(I posted an article/info on the "dirty dozen" and the "clean 15" under the Health section, which tells you the most and least toxic fruit and vegetables).

I personally want to get to a point where I can grow as any fruit and vegetables on my own property as possible, something I would suggest to everyone, even if you live in the city, you can grow in containers on your balcony or small yard space.    (Those of you that live in California have NO excuse).

Between the fact that our politicians have sold us ALL out to corporate America and how unhealthy and toxic our food is, and that at the very first chance, republicans will destroy national healthcare, the way I see it, WE THE PEOPLE are on our own, so we better start learning how to survive on our on, and that probably has to start with non-toxic healthy diets, to first ward off illness and chronic disease.

You are soooooooo right Sista Sunnubian.  I live in Cali where the fruit and nut trees are a finger tip away.  I eat fruit from my backyard, peaches, apples, avocados, oranges and lemons.  Some of these items in the grocery stores are not as fresh or ripe as they advertise. I did have a bad experience with salmon.  This was due to laziness....I just didn't feel like driving...since the gas prices were at one time $4.79 a gallon...but!  I'mma gonna have to suck it up and go where the freshest of the fresh are.  Or like the kids say...coast til I roast[meaning til I get there] and shop where I KNOW they have pride in the food they sell.  Another thing I like to point out as I'm thinking...cooked foods.  a lotta kids do not know how to cook their own food.  I've done a couple of program teaching children the basic of home cooking...using vegetables from local neighhorhood gardens....and to my amazement they loved it.  It's kinda expensive doing this cuz I need more than one stove....but!  When they took home economics outta the schools....soonafter that is when obesity became a plague in the black community.  When I was coming up, you HAD to know how to cook.  Now...fast food resturants are EVERYWHERE...and the kids don't think they have a choice....but!  They do.  Hopefully, we can get back to that.  It will save a lotta blackfolks.  But!
