I heard something totally crazy on the radio the other day,If theres anybody from the chicagoland area it was on 107.5 WGCI a urban radio station. Now the radio personaliies was playing an actual audio clip of a preacher speaking at one of the local churches. He went off on what he called an epidemic of black women turning lesbian. He metioned women going down on eachother, using strapons and this a preacher I remind you. He said all women need a men in there life.(his words not mine). But after I heard it I just laughed it off, then I started to thinnking of what I heard on another black urban radio station POWER 92.3 late at night they had a call in topic can a women satisfy you better than a man?
Now this actually shocked me and the radio personalities which were guys. Of all the women that called in about 85 percent said a women can get them off better than a man, and the funny part of all this none of the women considered them selves gay. Now I was wondering does anybody else see alot of this? I guess everybody is on the down low DAMN?

I posted a topic awhile back attempting to get women to talk about any homosexual and/or bisexual experiences that they may have had. No one responded. Therefore, like the "down-low" controversy, which has recently subsided, I don't think "Black Lesbianism" is as common as the media and radio would have us to believe.

I don't consider them all homosexual either.

Unless the 85% are actually attracted to women, they aren't lesbians.

If that's not the case, I think it's safe to say that they are just think women know women's bodies better.

That's an opinion that has put several guides on book lists.

Gay guys' guide for the straight women.

Lesbians' guide for the straight man.

Such and such.

They all make a profit off that mentality, so it's not a suprise that's what many people believe.

as has been proven in the black community so many times before. . . .just because we are unwilling to talk about it, does not mean that it isn't happening.
I dont consider myself to be a lesbian, but I have and is still having a relationship that also includes intimacy with a woman. I agree with the statement "A woman knows a womans body better" Of all the men, that Ive been intimate with they, didnt take there time, quick to just wham bam thank, you ma'am,no foreplay and if so it was really quick and not very pleasing, now that I think back on it..I dont encourage other females to be with a woman,to each is own,but now that I have,I dont think I can go back to a man....IMO
If you don't intend to go back to relationships/sex with men, how are you NOT a lesbian??? I understand the reluctance to declare oneself a "lesbian" if you are just experimenting or it's only an occassional thing or just a sexual thing, but once you have decided that men are out... I think you're pretty much a lesbian at that point. Wink
No. Most lesbians grow up knowing they were lesbian. No one can fall into lesbianism. If anyone does have a homosexual encounter it's pretty much the same as what you see on the Playboy channel and their mags. Not a homosexual or bisexual relationship. Just the same dumb TV stuff that tells you it's hot to do. Everyone else is doing it. Just so some dumb person can say. Wow that's so hot next time can I join in or watch. Crap like that. Watch any dating show. They always have a seen with two girls kissing. The guy is always like "Mannnnn, that is so hot". You girls really know now to party. Shit like that.

Your right in a sense, but I just feel like if your a true lesbian you have NEVER had the desire to be with a man or have ANY type of entry from a male or female that use a strap! And I have had both,so thats why I dont consider myself to be a lesbian.
