Ever wish that while playing EA Sports' college football games you could plays as Grambling State University, Southern University or some other historically black college or university? Well, the new Xbox 360 game 'Black College Football Xperience: The Doug Williams Edition' is hoping to fill that void.

The game features 36 HBCUs and the ability to play in games such as the Bayou Classic, the Labor Day Classic and the MEAC/SWAC Challenge. But the game is more than just Xs and Os. It also pays homage to the halftime shows by letting players rock along using a drum set. The mini-game has three levels of difficulty, and if you win the drumline competition, your team will have the momentum going into the second half.

The game is set to hit stores on Aug. 24, but for now you can check out the trailer below:

Nobody wants to buy an awful HBCU football game, just because it's a HBCU football game.

Crossing my fingers...

I see it's on Xbox 360. Is it also available on Wii or PS3? And can I get it at Game Stop?
