When hotmail switched over to MSN or whatever they also changed our personal preferences, that is why you may have noticed an increase in the amount of junk mail you have been receiving. To change this and stop some of the junk mail from coming to you, after you sign in go to options, click on personal profile and scroll down to where it has share my email address with other companies and uncheck it, there is another thing checked also, so of course uncheck this one to. After I did this I noticed a big difference in the amount of junk mail I received.

Someone posted this over on another website,(big up to Big Poppa Ice, for doing it)so I thought I should share it here too.

Maybe you should try Blocking them from emailing you. After you "block" them there is no way they can email you anymore. But really I don't think there is anyway you can completely stop unwanted email.(I wish there was!)

Blocking is good for getting rid of annoying pest, but like mosquitoes, they don't go away just because you squashed one of em. What the cyber world uses is a technique that applies a different tag to each email sent out so that your email stays in its memory and if you block mosquitoe #1, then #2 is automatically dispatched to your email addy, so you will find sometimes numerous emails from the same company with different email tags on it. But you gotta applaud the effort of blocking an annoying person who doesn't have the capability or sense to utilize a second email address to notify or pest you.
