I want to expand the African history books section and buy in some new titles for the bookstore I work in. I've been looking for titles online, but I'd appreciate some personal recommendations or suggestions to broaden the field.

The books must be currently in print and readily available ~ ideally a mix of classic History titles, but with an emphasis on contemporary (preferably 2004-2007) History/non-fiction authors.

Most of the books we carry in the African history are by european authors and I want to add books by African authors and African perspectives.

Thanks in advance.
