I saw this drivel yesterday and really didn't find it even comment worthy. But since it's here....can anyone really take some Asian bloggers comments about Sistas seriously?

The Black Woman is the MOTHER of this world and HER Husband Loves Her. And that's the only validation SHE needs. And when you think about it, who else could come under such misinformed, misguided, unsophisticated, or jaded scrutiny by the prevailing depraved psychotic thinking of the 'power's that be' (asian influenced or not,) than the Mother of all Women and beauty itself?

However will say this I agree, the Sista above is a very beautiful Woman (both of'm as a matter of fact!) but Tamron Hall is the most beautiful Woman in the world!! (lol)

I had a Black woman ask me to go to Paris with her.  I am standing there thinking, "Why am I supposed to geve a shit about Paris?"  I would rather go to Honolulu.

 

I suspect the article is correct in the sense that people have been psychologically brainwashed world wide by the dominance of the Euro-cult but it is still subjective psychological bullshit.  I don't understand why White people think blond hair is so great.  A friend of mine tells my that Howard Hughes started it with his influence on Hollywood.

NQuest, I was with you on the CNN hottie, until I saw Jumping the Broom.  Tenika Davis, who played one of Paula Patton's girls (along with Megan Goode, who's no ug-mug herself) has been on my mind ever since. Her smile (which I can't find a shot of, woe is me) is just incredible.  Stunning. 

 

For the record, I read a few other blog posts from this Kanazawa guy.  All of them are basically trash, even ones that aren't bashing black women.  He's an "evolutionary psychologist," but he's also a right-winger/libertarian, and he writes a lot of posts that have nothing to do with psychology.  He's got educational credentials, but he comes across as intellectually sloppy and idiotic.  He's got an agenda, and he bends scholarship to fit it. 

 

So in short, he's the latest example of something I've mentioned on this site for years: the minority right-winger who, despite being a mediocre writer and unimpressive thinker, gets fast-tracked to notoriety because right wingers want to prop up minority right wingers.  He's the newest incarnation of such lames as Larry Elder and Dinesh D'Souza. 

Man....I just like sisters PERIOD! I might not get along with them but I bet our sisters on this forum, Sunnubian, Koco, Negro Spiritual and Ebony Rose would be sisters that I would get with. However....I am a married man and keeping my family intact is the most important thing to me. Can't do the Arnold Swartznager thang....but damn if I don't want to  sisters be just TOO fine! Good thing I am in Minnesota and not the "D"....because I ben done gone crazy by now...as a married man.

I've been seeing crap like this all over the internet; (don't ever look at Topix.com under the African American thread--you all would flip).  I constantly come across so many threads about why Black men are this or that negative and why this and that is wrong with Black women.  It's no more than psych games designed to make Black women second guess their beauty and bring down their self-esteem, since there are not enough of out there committing crimes to be labeled as scary, drug dealing, thieving, killers.  What is posted all over the internet about Black men is just as bad; however, I think that is done because of a combination of racist assholes being afraid to say these things to a Black man's face and the oldest psychological disorder in the book, penis envy, playing a big role in defaming the character of all Black males by other races of men.

 

Another thing is the fact that there are so many White people that live in a fantasy world of what they, themselves actually look like. Hollywood and the media has ingrained into their minds of White people and other races of people just as many false and distorted images of what they actually look like as it has in their minds of what Black people actually look like.

Of course WE know this isn't TRUE.  Otherwise why...would white skanks get their lips full?  Why would they get fat injected in their butts.....and why oh why would they get boobs jobs...if they were soooooooooo perfect and attractive naturally?  Cuz they are NOT! This is yet another article bashing black people. And as we all know the easiest way to gain noteriety or fame is to bad mouth, putdown or bash black people. We have more important issues to worry about other than what some anonymous non-black person thinks of the sexual appeal of black women. Really, black women don't find them attractive either.

I do agree with Yemaya that we do have more important things to be concerned about, however, people like this need to be called on their constant obsession with Black people, it's downright freaky and creepy that other races of people are so constantly obsessed with EVERYTHING about Black people down to making up bogus research data on any possible subject, down to even faking bogus research data on the beauty or non-existence of beauty of Black women.  It's time for this campaign of psychological violence and terror against the image of Black people to stop.  I am going to write a letter of complaint to Psychology Today, I hope that every Black person that actually saw that b.s. actually being posted under the authority of a legitimate media like Psychology Today is going to do the same.  The mere fact that it was even allowed under their name in the first place brings to question the legitimacy of their brand.

 

P.S.:  As a side note, that while all the compliments that the guys posted in response on AA.org are greatly appreciated, I would point out that none of the women had natural hair, and I would have liked to see them post Black women that wear their hair natural that they find beautiful as well.  While, I am not condemning Black women that wear their hair relaxed(straightened), I do believe that whether or not a Black woman's hair is straightened still plays a role in whether or not she is considered beautiful at all or how beautiful she may be considered to be by most eyes that have been programmed by the Western media and the West's standard of beauty in the first place, especially if the hair is long and irregardless to whether or not it is a weave, (i.e., unnatural hair, someone else's hair).

Thank you Noah for acknowledging the fact that Black women do not have to have straight hair to be beautiful.  However, after looking at the pictures again, it does appear that the first girl is shown with natural hair.  

 

I just feel that there has been soooooo much psychological damage done to Black people for Black people themselves to not be able to accept their own hair texture and I believe that as long as large percentages of us think that way, then we are all still under the brainwashing.  Don't get me wrong, it's not so much the straightening of the hair for fashion statements or convenience, etc., but it is more not being accepting of what is natural to us, but break our necks to be accepting of what is not natural to us.  In other words, if Black people/African Americans were even equally accepting of Nappy hair (our own natural hair) as we are of straightened hair, then I could view it as a preference and not self-rejection.  

 

But, bravo to all you guys that actually see African beauty in women of African descent the way it is supposed to be viewed and accepted, especially by men of African descent.

I find it "interesting" that anyone could produce an "academic study" indicating that Black women are (or seen to be) less attractive than other women; when males (and females) of all races, throughout history, have attempted to move heaven and Earth to get with them.

You know, I was all set to write Psychology Today a long complaint letter, but then, I thought about it again and said to myself that if I do, I will probably be playing right into what the writer of this bogus information wants, EXPOSURE.  If they get a barrage of complaints, that will only attract the main stream media, which would or could wind up making his name a household word, which probably what he really wants and is probably why he wrote such an insulting article in the first place.

 

For decades now, but especially within the last two decades, it appears to me that the way to get notoriety and fame instantly in this still racist country, is to say something racist or insulting or hateful about Black people, especially African Americans; I've even seen what I believe to be Black people using the exact same tactic.  We know that politicians have been doing this for decades, centuries; now we see that others are applying that same tactic to fields other than politics.  It is now a psychological template for success and/or notoriety in this still racist country.  So, maybe to counter it, African Americans should not give it the attention it needs to be successful in the first place people dirty enough to even employ such tactics.  

 

But, I'm still pondering this racist b.s. and what to do to stop/keep whatever dirty players and/or racists' like this are peddling from becoming popular at Black people expense and block their opportunities to become noticed or famous by peddling racist stereotypes, insults and hatred against Black people or African Americans.

Do we need to respond to all the garbage out there? Ok so black women are unattractive and white girls don't have booties or rhythm? Are they going to get all up in arms... they roll with it. They don't care. This is, again, pseduo science junk.

This is continued psychological warfare and propaganda to rift black people further apart and to keep us mentally shackled. Interesting how the white corporate media is once again concerned with Black people. When I was growing up African features (full lips & full buttox) were consider unattractive by white amerikkka. Today, whites are getting transplants to make their lips and buttox full and 'attractive' LOL! It takes acceptance and appreciation of African traits in order for Black people to accept and appreciate those same traits. Now that this society is veering toward acceptance and celebration of full lips, full hips, kinky hair and the like, unelevated AAs in this country hopefully will follow suit. Black pride has done as much or more for liberating my mind as any book I have read. Total self acceptance giving way to total self love shattered the illusion and revealed the false-chains.

 

Whites and Asians have a demented way of emulating us. I once read how the cosmetic industry is attempting to "scientifically" reproduce melanin to use as an anti-aging agent in cosmetics and foods (if they're not doing that already). They have now learned the secret health benefits of melanin when they once said there wasn't any significant value in melanin. Which brings to mind, has anyone noticed how white women in their thirties often look beyond their age ... dilapidated with visible cracks and wrinkles while many Black women in their forties look thirty something with youthful looking skin? It's the melanin. Black don't crack and they hate that.

Actually Sis SUMNUBIAN.....YOUR'E absolutely right and as 'standing protocol' for ME, I'M the first to promote Sistas 'natural' hair and how I don't even look at a Sista unless it is...after all, there are those who advocate the spiritual importance of all of US wearing OUR hair 'natural', because it is OUR first connection to spiritual strength (and truth,) and for that reason, one of OUR only natural defenses against the (euro) lies that WE stand against everyday.

As I said earlier your selfless endearment regarding black women is nice to hear.  And this hair thang....that's massa's interpretation of what HE feels is beauty.  Cuz African women as a rule were dynamic with how they combed their hair....but!  Many forget that when we came over here as slaves....our comb [along with our excellent hair technique know-how] was tragically left behind.  Prior to that, it wasn't just one way we presented our hair....hell a lotta times many African women wore their heads BALD...but!  This NEVER diminishes our beauty.  Never!  Massa was just jealous cuz the only thing his woman had visually was that stringy stinky stuff that he FORCED African women to comb and groom.  Cuz his hefer didn't KNOW how.  And if you look at white hair fashion today, it is definitely mimicking the different styles of ancient black women[ Egyptians] who wore wigs, extensions and weaves thousands of years before this "hair fanaticism" came to America.  So....the beauty YOU may see in us [cuz we are the true star people] is from the inside out.  And I thank you for that keen observation my brotha....but!  I'm just sayin
