IF MBM DOES NOT GET THIS THEN THERE IS NO HOPE FOR HIM. MBM - Today we can look at the large population centers in the North - NYC, Philadelphia, Camden, Washington DC, Newark, Cleveland - the list goes on. These companies have a vested and economic interest in the Domain Names they have thus while they will remove their content from the .com Domains the Domain Name will remain theirs and a redirect will be put on the .com page thus going to the .xxx will be a matter of clicking on a link on a .com. I had to do a little reading to understand why the US controls top level domain naming (run a google on ICANN). I still don't understand what would force non-US website owners to comply. How is the issue any different than the inability to stop spam email? Overall, I think Black Viking & Vox make good points.

That's a good point, Faheem. In order the legislation to work, they'll have to illegalize redirecting as well. Thus separating ".xxx" from all other Domain servers.
