After that I kept hearing the song but didn't know who sang it. PARITY? That's funny - when I listen to Bloomberg or CNBC each morning on the ride to work I hear about "financial justification", "shareholder value" and "bottom line profits". It seems to me that Sir Jesse Jackson is attempting to apply to Wall street some concepts that don't necessarily fall into their way of doing business - and that is GREEN. Very soon few workers will need to worry about their "Pensions". An increasing number of their employers will be switching to 401k programs. The...

You are showing either you naivete or bias CF. White males hire white males. Period. In fact, there would be no affirmative action in employment if white males could be trusted not to break the law and hire without regard to race and gender. Because they are unable to do so, there must be a law in place to "force" them to do what is right as opposed to what they want to do - which is (like Bush) hire their boys.

Now there is no debating that. Anyone who tries to deny the fact that "school vouchers" have a racist past, and most likely a racist modern-day intent, have their heads buried in the ground. Of course, many White racists will deny it to the end, and their Black-faced, chicken-eating, greasy-grinnin', coon-shuffling lackies will follow them to the ends of the Earth and beyond.
