The writer is misinformed. ADOS is not about dividing the Africans that were enslaved by other countries. The purpose is to focus on the legitimate claim of Africans in America that have been enslaved here, built this country, and are due reparations. If the descendants of Caribbean slave nations want to file a claim against their former colonizer, they can and should do so on their own. I must admit that the writer's point was confusing to me, in that it accuses this movement (ADOS) of tribalsim, supposedly, it appears, because ADOS is only advocating for Reparations for descendants of American slaves. However, from the beginning, each Black nation has demanded Reparations from their perspective former enslavers/colonizers, etc. So, . . .
