LOL! "Saint" Augustine used to be a Manichean before he became a "Christian" around 400 C.E. He was a Manichean Gnostic (who are influenced by Zoroastrianism) and kept much of his Manichean theology and tried to tie it into Christianity. The doctrines of: Corruption of the Physical Body, Innate Powerlessness, Eternal Salvation, Eternal Damnation, Defilement of Women, Pisticity (Faith-Onlyness) and disdain of spiritual knowledge, Classical Theism (God seperate from Self), Satan (God of...

I thought this movie was beyond silly... and I'm sorry, but I don't see the 'emasculated black man' thing. I understand the concept but I'm not sure I buy into it. We have to deal with far more overt manifestations of racism than those found in a movie. It's just a movie, folks.... Be that as it may, on with my review: The actors were fine -- I'm a fan of both Naomi Watts and Jack Black. But the film was wayyy over the top. To be clear - the point that I am trying to illustrate is that Con Feed's rants about the problems of black culture are really a result of classism and poverty in America that transcend race. Since we know that the white middle class has declined over recent years, if the black middle class has increased or decreased at a smaller rate than the white middle class - then whatever issues CF has with black people can be attributed to the effects that ALL middle/working/poor Americans suffer from...
