Re: Men love promiscuous women..They just don't want to marry one.

The idea/emotion behind imagining that you killed someone and actually killing someone can be the same too... But the acts are very different. In a fantasy, you haven't committed yourself...You simply entertain the possibility... And you can also imagine away (or simply ignore) the harsher aspects of the reality. For example, I can imagine that the woman is not actually sharing herself with the world in her picture but that it is meant for my eyes only. And If I fantasize about Sanaa Lathan,...

There are the Sanaa Lathan and Gabriel Union threads. There is the Dorothy Dandridge thread. In fact, in the Gabriel Union thread, people commented on how wholesome her beauty was - the girl next door. Kresge remarked that she resembled his sister - and then yours truly tried to get the inside track to his sister. If I knew where to get the pictures I'd start my own threads featuring the type of women you mention. I once tried but it was time consuming and not easy to find pics. Maybe I can...

] You're kidding right? You think I'm going to believe that men don't look at those pictures because it excites them? Okay...... As far as being loose..... I don't think men who view photos such as this "think" much of anything...... However.... A woman with a thong on posing for God knows how many male strangers doing a close up of her rear simulating sexual movements or positions would be sending the message of sexual readiness and openness to hundreds (thousands?) of men..... would be...

You failed to undertand my point. I was not denying being excited. But, YOU, my dear, are the one looking at the picture making the judgement that the woman is "loose." Who are you to tell us what goes on or doesn't go on in the mind of a fantasizing man???? Especially when I, a man, am telling you something very specific. Who are you to over-rule my opinion on the matter? My point was that the idea of the woman being loose plays no part in the enjoyment of the pictures. In fact, the idea...

Peace... It seems that you are saying the same thing as Black Viking...Good enough to fantasize about having...But not good enough to pursue. So basically Honest brother, you are not promiscuous, you do not date promiscuous women, but you enjoy fantasizing about women who portray themselves as being sexually liberated. this position seems to be a little iffy... And if you happen to see Sanaa Lathan...Please do not kidnap her..She deserves to be alive, and in one piece..and not stuffed into the head of a grizzly bear, or some sick sh!t like that. Kai

The Real Taboo? Hollywood, Race, and Romance This article originally appeared in IntelligenceSquad.com. In a recent New York Times, columnist Nicholas Kristof asks when Hollywood will release a major motion picture in which a black man and white woman fall in love. Kristof raises an interesting point, but we feel his complaint misses the real problem, which is that Hollywood has shown a frustrating reluctance toward depicting romance between black men and black women. Kristof's citing of...

First of all, they can start by stop making these psuedo-romantic black films like "Two Can Play That Game" and "Deliver Us From Eva." Not every sister is a man-hating, castrating shrew, and not every brother is a playa... nor should they be thought of as such. We can't be like Mike...Jackson, Jordan, Tyson, and/or Vick.

Now that's some freudian sh!t right there. Somewhat off topic [but I didn't want to locate the appropriate thread] ... This past weekend, I saw [under protest] the movie "Something New." As I expected, the movie didn't make me think about the issues that director, Blair Underwood, suggested; rather, it pissed me off. While Underwood could have produced a great positive movie commenting on Black male/female relationships, he chose to produce what, in my view, was an anti-Black relationship...

Most Blk women are overweight and should seek to lower those high level of body fat. There is really no reason for any woman to weight more than 200 lbs, or anything close to it. It's UNHEALTHY and is correctly described in medical literature as 'morbid obesity'. Re: If reparations are due, start with Native Americans

Nmaginate, I encourage you as well as other black males to read a book titled A Black Man's Guide To Surviving In A White Man's World by E. LeMay Lathan. The reason why I'm not interested in investing much effort or time in threads discussing reparations is because black people will never get reparations. Its as simple as that. Its a waste of time to expect reparations or apologies from white people who have persistently worked (whether you agree with the way it was done or not) so that they...

Now that is interesting. Gotta wonder where the money came from. Xum

Considering that the President broke records in his 2008 campaign for raising money over the Internet from small individual donations and through grassroots efforts from individual Americans and supporters .... and is on pace to collect as much if not more in this upcoming election ... I would say that he HAS changed the way election fundraising happens. No other candidate had - or has since - received the kind of individual donor, non-corporate tainted money support that the President has.
