What about the rights of legal immigrants---what's their opinion? What about the African-American workforce---I think there are enough brothers and sisters willing to do such work but strangely enough I haven't read any survey's regarding this except for the African-Americans who are competing with illegals for the jobs in the Perdue Chicken plants in North Carolina. Open borders???? How about open schools where some children of illegals are already crowding over-crowded schools with...

I was shocked as well when I read it in the book. When I was doing my counseling training years ago, the numbers that we had showed that AA youth hardly ever committed suicide, that this was definitely more of a white thing. The conventional wisdom was that if a black youth died of non-natural causes or accident, it was most likely due to black youth killing one another. Yet, there was always a sense with respect to the latter, that such violence was rooted in self-hatred/self-destructive...

A couple of things: 1 - That's a big assumption that these people are all alcoholics. I'm not an alcoholic and I've certainyl driven at least twice under the influence. I very well could've had 2 or 3 DUIs. 2 - Are you running a one-man AA program or addressing drunk driving? Once again, the problem is the driving, not the drinking. Even if they are alcoholics, it is not YOUR place (and certainly not the government's place) to get into people's lives and decide you are going to make them...

There is also the strong possibility that they are just picking sites due to the logistics of transporting chemicals. I'm sure about J&J in particular. I would have to see a few meetings and meet a few more people to judge whether it's elitist or not. I wouldn't call it elitist just because there isn't a plethora of low-income folks in the org, though. Especially when looking at why the group was formed, I don't think it should be expected to accept everyone. If you don't accurately identify the source of your problem, how can you reasonably expect to solve it? This is the crux of the problem. White Supremacy Inc. would have you focus your angst on Mexicans and away from those who get rich on exploiting both. Again, Mexicans have not set wages. Mexicans have not hired anyone. White Supremacy Inc. has. Without clarity on this point, whatever energy you have is misplaced. And that's the point. Fighting for our interests is what politics and...
