How is a ballot with no identifiers a paper-trail? That would be like completing the bubble sheet for the SAT exam without having anyway of indentifying YOUR sheet. Would you accept the test results as valid? A paper trail would be if the voter was provided with a ballot number that could be later matched to a vote or a printout that would allow the receipt to be matched to a ballot. It is widely alleged that the fraud was not found in the marking of the ballots; but in the tabulation.
