Politics It’s Time to Stop Romanticizing the Civil Rights Movement and Get Real By Danielle Dorsey - February 15, 2017 0 968 With celebrations relegated to the shortest month of the year, Black history has been reduced to a highlight reel of America’s proudest moments. While photos of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. linking arms to march courageously toward freedom are inspiring, the civil rights movement was more than nonviolent protests and sit-ins. The tendency to glamorize their struggles has...

Those prisoners build every damn thing of value in the country at two cents a year, I thought. Prisons aren't anything but caged plantations. Whatever transpired on the plantations transpires in prisons ten-fold. The raping, the whippings, the plugging of the orifices of choice, which is probably two, if male; God and Women in the Know, know when female. If white people didn't have us for their flunkies of everything, they'd be some lost motherfuckers. They might have to bend down and pick...

People can pee before they leave the house and pee again when they return home. Wear diapers. Stay home. You've NEVER known what could be lurking in Department Store bathrooms. Some of them are loaded with urine on the floor; you forget you had to go to the bathroom as soon as you opened the door. How can anyone expect JUSTICE from 'PEOPLE' that hate the ground you walk on and make all the damn rules and regulations you're to follow? There's no rock nor hard place in situations like that.

Why are they making this difficult? Just give them their OWN bathrooms. Women and children have RIGHTS too. No woman WANTS to use the bathroom with a MAN...with lipstick on or not. And no woman wants her children to be in the bathroom with MEN....lipstick, high heel shoes...whatever. Just reconstruct the women's bathroom where there is partition that separates real women and children and transgender. Problem solved. But!

Black people of the world should mobilize together and make their own daggone Book of some kind or another. My name's on Facebook, but I've never learned how to send messages on the sucker. It's only on there because my daughter wanted me to put it there. The CIA and FBI are probably involved in that joker and also the Police. They know every time you go to the bathroom on Facebook. Just waiting for you to screw up. I have family there; so far they're still "free".

I am so sick of them picking and choosing what humans can boycott. All one has to do is read up on the story about Israel and Palestine to know who's side white America is on. Israel has this dark secret of prostitution and sex slavery but no one is talking about that. Most know they did wrong in 1940s when they assigned Israel to the Jews when Palestines were still living there. Its all about Jesus. And the fact lie that Christianity comes from the Jewish scriptures. Not. It's a LIE LIE...

Black people have to return to being strategic in their attempts to get what they want-like in the civil rights days. Many stop taking public transportation and car pooled to work, church etc. They did a lot of effective things that caused white America to take notice. Youngins today don't LISTEN and look at what works and what don't....and that? To me is what is hurting us. We have to remove the arrogance of young black America otherwise the killings? That's what it's going to take because Americans have been thoroughly programmed [beginning during slavery] to not give a damn about Black people, even Black children. So, African Americans are going to have to hit America the only place that matters, and that's in the pocketbook, in the econom y, and it's going to have to be BIG , not any 'fair weather' or on/off boycott, but one where at least 75-80 percent of ALL Black people [including African, Caribbean and Diaspora immigrants] in...
