Typical. Lots of people are blinded by hate/homophobia. Remember the one we had here who would post her homophobic "proof" straight from the Klan's website. When you find yourself agreeing with and quoting the Klan, you need to someone to dropkick you. Hard. Evenso, the tradegy is that people (especially BLACK people, and especially people on the pulpit) are promoting hatred. Effing shame.

Speaking of, where do you think all this Homophobia is coming from in the Black Community? Do you think it has to do with the Fundamentalist/Evangelical (White)-strain of Christianity that seems to be popular in our community.

AMEN! What I would really like is for conservatives to explain is what exactly gays are taking from me if they get married. I have a position on many contravertial issues, but they all have one thing in common. They directly, or at least indirectly, affect me. Quoted from the article, these are things that Republicans are suing Democrats for: It's pretty pathetic that this is the best that black conservatives can do. The fact is that above and beyond any party affiliations, it is conservative ideology that was behind everything listed above. I hear what your saying here, Huey. But, to be fair, most white women are not Klansmen (and if I meet one, dating probably will not be a topic of discussion ).
