I am so in two minds about this .... ...... I'm not sure what I think!! On the one hand .... the teachers are absolutely right about ridiculousness of "standardized testing." It never should have happened ... and should have been done away with looonnnngggggg time ago!! I don't think teachers should be faulted for the failure of NCLB, They were mandated to follow President Idiot's education plan. Don't forget the fact that parents can now be arrested and imprisoned for disciplining their child, (and the child(ren) know this).
