FBI Shuts Down Civil Rights Era Investigations

Agency will let old murder cases stay cold. With little fanfare, the FBI announced in an article in the Washington Post last week that it was closing its investigations into all but a handful of unsolved civil rights era murders . The head of the FBI team assigned to investigate these cold cases stated that “there’s maybe five to seven cases where we don’t know who did it. For every other case, we got it.” This announcement came as a surprise to activists who have pushed the FBI and the...

FBI Updates Its Definition of "Rape" —By Kate Sheppard | Fri Jan. 6, 2012 3:06 PM PST The issue of what constitutes "rape" got a lot of attention last year after Republicans in Congress tried to redefine the term as it applies to federal laws in order to limit exceptions to the ban on federal funding for abortions to those for which the pregnancy was the result of "forcible rape." (Because those friendly, non-aggressive rapes are so common.) But as a number of women's groups pointed out,...

I'm still reading this story, but if these jokers don't stop calling me a minority, a lesser than, rather than a smaller population or some other jazz (besides that and the "N" word), I'm going to start referring to them as Caucasian Canines. Seems fair to me. Call me a minority, I'm calling them Dogs. I'm "lesser than", they're "dog-like". Just for the record, who's closer to the truth and can I touch your hair???

People, there is just too much financial incentive on the part of the police, private businesses, Multi-national banks, local, state and federal governments for this type of behavior to ever stop. This young man is being victimized under a system which has been refined to the point that most people can't or refuse to see the economic exploitation of mostly black people. This is terrible. I hope that those police officers go to straight to jail.
