how old is your friend? If she is over 30, then it sounds like she is taking the best deal on the table. I'm from the MD area, educated in DC[Georgetown U], returned to DC after grad school and have found that black women are the least approachable women of the all. Many DC black men agree with me on this. That's why there are so many mixed couples in the surrounding areas, i.e. Northern VA, PG County, Gaitherburg MD, Bethesda MD, and Silver Spring MD...have you ever been to Georgetown??

I think other races [of women] do experiences it, but they seem to grow out of it[i.e. white women pursuing biker type guys, asian and hispanic women seeking out gangmembers, etc]. For Black women, I think, their problem stems from their decisions to have children with bad boy/thug. A choice which has a much longer attachment [a co-parent] than a lady saying 'when I was younger, I use to date gangmembers]. Choices..choices. The article makes several good points, however, I think it sugarcoats the "baby mama/daddy drama" that affects many of these types of relationships. I only have one problem with this. By my understanding, racism is simply a specific form of prejudice. At its core, its no different than classism or sexism. The question is "What is the bias?" not "Is there a bias?" For a person to say they are not racist, they are saying that they are not prejudice, that they do not pre-judge. Just like "Samuel Alito" probably originally had some more Italian-sounding name, and he probably became an arch-conservative to appeal to the Anglo-Saxxon crowd so they would forget about his "Italian-ness". The problem isn't that he doesn't say it. The problem is that he doesn't say it in the way you want him to. Paul lived 2000 years ago in an entirely different culture and had as his objective the survival of believers in Christ. You cannot demand that he speak as a twenty-first century American (or even as a nineteenth-century Northerner). They can provide a basic overall sketch of generic skill levels, and make a nice colourful barchart, but fail to give an indepth picture of regional requirements, specialized skillsets, and demographics. Please review the 20/20 Special on Education in which they traveled to Belgium to consider why they outperform AMERICAN CHILDREN of all races. Educational funding gets applied to the CHILD and not the school system. The kids are allowed to obtain educational services from any outlet the parents choose. I'm not sure what you are asking. Clearly there is a positive correlation between consumer debt and bankruptcy. That that correlation increases exponentially with greater debt is intuitive. What specifically are you asking? "consumer depreciation business"? Are you just noting that consumers are, on average, buying more "stuff" now than before and financing it with consumer debt? Are you inferring that the whole idea of the American Dream is something that is designed to advance consumerism...
