Howard University's School of Social Work, is top of the line, and is predominantly 'peopled' by whites! I would see Bill and Camille Cosby in the halls many times; they are huge contributors to this department. Also, HU's school of dentistry is 30/30/30/10, black, white, hispanic and other. I was on a jury for a medical malpractice, and five of the doctors, all caucasian and some other type of 'exotic' white, were grads from HU's med school. Have you ever had to rely on military healthcare? If you had, you'd know that it is NOT even close to being the best or even in the top half. It gets even worse if you were one of those millions who enlisted in the 1950's and believed the promise of healthcare for life if you retire (that was a court battle the Bush Administration fought and won). It may be better than nothing while on active duty, but it isn't anything to brag about. There are horror stories galore about malpractice, but as...

The benefit of each of these provision to middle class and poorer families is so patently obvious that no comment is needed other than a unanimous "yes". But this government, "of the people, by the people, and for the people" betrayed that Declaration long ago. It's present form is not even close, not even for the common class of whites who still believe these idealistic pronouncements were...

The majority of people who file malpractice suits get nothing. Megabucks awards for damages are relatively rare compared to the Billions per year that insurance companies are raking in. Also factor in the number of procedures that insurance companies refuse to cover despite plan participants paying monthly premiums for a lifetime, and the fact that insurance companies have raised EVERYBODY's rates, not just doctors. I think it is unacceptable to have a 250,000.00 cap on malpractice suits.

Extorting confessions out of defendants is illegal and unconstitutional, however, it is practiced repeatedly all across this country. Prosecutors and judges have immunity in all cases, therefore, there is no incentive for any prosecutor or judge to follow the law or the constitution whenever they do not want to, and a larger percentage of prosecutors and judge do not, without consequences. Our entire justice system needs to be investigated for misconduct, malpractice and collusion, across...

I think that what he did was malpractice, but, I don't know that I believe that it was really involuntary manslaughter. Dr. Murry should have never agreed to treat Michael without all of the proper resuscitation equipment inside the room, since he did, then it is Dr. Murry that was negligent, but I don't think that it was manslaughter. Besides, Michael Jackson was addicted to propofol long before he knew or hired Dr. Murry; it seems that all the doctors in Michael's life that feed his...
