Re: Revisiting Rwanda and the death of 800,000 Tutsi's

Faheem ·
Part three... The sudden drop in income for small farmers resulted in widespread famine, as farmers no longer had income with which to purchase food. The consequence for the Rwandan state elite was just as devastating; the money required to maintain the position of the rulers had come from coffee, tin, and foreign aid. With the first two gone, foreign aid became even more critical, so the Rwandan elite needed more than ever to maintain state power in order to maintain access to that aid.

Yeah, that's what I mean. Also, she was talking about the face Veils , not the head scarfs as those tweeting are indicating. What she got wrong as hell, was this idea that there were "Negroes who liked slavery"; I have no idea where she got that false belief from, probably from some racist White American. Or, she may have meant was, that after enough time had passed, many s laves in America had been thoroughly brainwashed and socially conditioned to BELIEVE that they were supposed to be...

This is nothing but the continued war on Islam and Muslim men. The whole purpose of the veil is to prevent men from sexualizing women. And men are also supposed to be covered from head to toe and most often are in hardcore Islamic countries. As a man you can't show your ankles and etc. What European nations such as France are trying to do is assimilate Muslims. Muslims don't care to be assimilated. Matter of fact, Muslims hate the West. Matter of fact, Muslims are just in the West to make...

Goodman, you giving a pass to Islam regarding women's rights is funny. And I know you are serious. Let me lay this on you, Arabs consider themselves caucasian, they damn don't consider themselves Black. The founder of the faith's servants mentioned that he was white. Of course it's BS but that is what they believe, they are white but the other white, LOL. I don't agree that women have to be oppressed to keep them in check. Yeah, cover your whole body in black and only a slit to see, in a...

"Keep women in check"? How? The way Slaves were "kept in check"? The way "jim crow and the "Black Codes" kept Black people in check? Women are oppressed in Islamic countries. Women are still oppressed in many parts of the world. And why should women have to dress in a croaker sack and cover their face, instead of the religion, culture and society addressing sexual deviance in men?

More and more young American men are feeling this "chattel" thing about women. You know the folks who bring people in the world? It's as if "we" are not human or equal to "male" standards even though women RAISED men from infancy to adulthood to have such a "standard." How can that same standard all of sudden turn around on us? It's interesting to me how many can validate cruelty and abuse to the members of their families/communities for the sole intent to launch their own need for power,...

Book of Genesis has many levels. Some are political. If you believe that God is male-only and that women are an abomination and solely responsible for men’s desire of them and that women do not give birth to men, this is definitely the book for you. Meanwhile, In Pakistan, a man's right to control his wife with beatings is being challenged: http://www.nytimes.com/2016/04...men-of-pakistan.html These creepy old men are common across Muslim countries. BLACK HISTORY: APHRODITE [Afro-diety]; the African goddess 4022 BC-------------1500s-------500s-----Roman Empire-----------AD 1500s---2008 Was Cleopatra the image of the goddess ˜Afrodite'? Based upon the time period that she lived with in, it becomes hard to prove because it was a time when white women were considered supreme over Hamitic-typed women. So maybe the movie makers of our time got it right when they did caste Elizabeth Taylor as Cleopatra. By the time that lady Cleo was...
