If he hasn't already, Spike Lee should write a film FOR Morgan Freeman. Some kind of bio-story... not about anyone necessarily famous, but about one man's journey. A non-Hollywood type screen adaptation of the true story/novel Life Is Good immediately comes to mind. Just the right actor, just the right age. Do it, Spike!

The song is by Lee Greenwood, lovely Southern Baptist man. Surely, there are plenty of "freedoms" to be thankful for in this country. That we can even have these conversations on a public forum is something great. No one is completely free to do anything they want, anytime they want, but we have enough flexibility in this country to at least be a bit grateful.

Sister Rosetta Thorpe as a young woman! Even the background footage is great- the churches, juke joints, chain gangs - priceless. One really poignant moment was when B. B. King talked about how an audience of black teenagers booed him at a festival and how it hurt him, but white teens later gave him a standing ovation.
