The comment towards the end of this article, is relatively disengenuous, as it minimizes the historical significance of 'the trades' industrial side;and while slavery had ended, it is obvious who was working the cotton fields. My approach is from a 'psychologically grounded' perspective.... I believe it is a overt statement of white men's repressed desires towards black women. It was political profiling as well, though. Tsk, tsk, tsk--nothing has changed. However, our attitudes and thinking should change. We need to realize and understand that when this type of rhetoric comes out of the mouth[s] of non-hueman[s] that it is purely a displaced projection of their own paranoias/and repressed feelings of inadequacy.

The sad part about Girlfriends is that that wasn't the only episode I hated. Remember the one show where they were mad at William for not being able to be Santa for Maya's son? I'm like "How come these heifers didn't call Darnell, JABARI'S FATHER, to do it? He works at the airport, carrying luggage. Carrying toys in a sack isn't that much of a stretch." Then they didn't talk to William for weeks, until he embarrassed himself and wrote a poem and THEN they forgave him. Forgave him? Shouldn't...

OK - Mr. Pan Africanist - you be da man! Since you have all the answers, please explain a couple of questions I have. 1) Please explain your vision for global Pan Africanism. What does it look like? How does it work? How do you connect Africans all over the world? 2) What is your strategy to achieve this global Pan Africanism? The continent is extraordinarily fractured as is. African America has a diverse group within itself. How do you pull all this together with Africans around the world?
