This statement is incorrect. According to research studies, most students who apply (and are accepted) into teacher education programs are White females. I personally view all conflicts in that relationship as normal, not race based. I think that it takes two VERY understanding people to look above race to have a functional relationship. Perhaps this is true in general, but in my life, what I have witnessed is capable legal citizens (mostly Black) being denied jobs they were more than qualified for in favor of giving them to illegals. Granted, these jobs were low skilled services or trades, but they were ways for legal Black citizens to make money and feed and clothe their families. In fact, it once happened to me.
