Making them feel comfortable? That's absolutely ridiculous! It's one thing to say that seeing a group of teenagers talking loudly and wearing oversized clothing makes one uncomfortable--I don't like being near any race of teens, as a matter of fact (barely out of my teens years myself, funny enough). But then some people will persist in feeling threatened because you are Black, irregardless of how neatly dressed or well spoken you are. I've experienced situations like this, only with Asians...

Young people make many mistakes. When I was in high school all the guys really went for the homecoming queen/prom queen types. How many of the most popular girls in your high schools are now sitting at home or in some dead end job with way to many kids by a bunch of different guys and/or on drugs? And what about the most popular guys? They are a lot of times, on drugs, in and out of jail, unstable, and that's if they're still alive. one of the reasons why the black man shortage myth is just that is because not all of the women in that 'ratio' are desireable or seeking positive men in their lives. Women are quick to eliminate men who are non-degreed, but never eliminate women with kids. Which is a 'harder' dating situation?? dating a degree-less man or dating a babymomma? I think the babymomma is harder because her kids must come first in her life and require a great deal of her time. Also, what if the kids don't like...

Unfortunately, these numbers and what they mean have become "normalized", in the sense put forward by Edward Herman in his book "Triumph of the Market". It can only be so, as capitalism panders to the uncontrolled greed and self-interest of the few. These statistics have to be accepted, normalized or else people would realize something is wrong and this is a threat to capitalist culture. And there is a method to all this as well. One of the cornerstones is to promote the banality of evil.

The vast majority of "haves" are conservative for the reasons you stated, but they have some how convinced a huge number of "have-nots" that they have something worth preserving as...

What is funny is that this "Christian" thought is borrowed from Platonism. The idea that the soul is eternal and not a part of God is Platonic and not supported in the Bible (especially the Old Testament). According to Ezekiel "The soul that sins, dies"; in Genesis, it claims that the "soul" is actually the Breath of God which retuns to breath after death. This doesn't support the Christian notion of an Eternal Soul that becomes human at conception (that's almost like saying that life begins...

IMO a female player is different from a male player in one respect. sex. the true female player never gives it away. she's a super tease. she gets gifts, and attention by withholding sex from a man. some women get their rent paid, their car notes paid, a new cell phone and some jewelry, just for the promise of sex. this works best if the woman is hella attractive, and seductive, but not one to actually sleep around. on the other hand, the men are players when they can lie, cheat and steal...
