honestly, I could not see myself personally doing that.. I'm not really a flashy person. You're stretching that dollar a bit far, because you'll likely need to take out a home equity loan to keep up with the maintenance costs of your stuff. I like #1 and #3 Shango, but #2 doesn't seem fiesable to me. How would you evaluate the amount of emotional bonding and so on, in a way that could put a dollar amout on it? The other thing is that spending time with the child, although important, does not alone help with the costs of raising a child. A man shouldn't be able to waive his financial obligations just because he went to a certain number of field trips and doctors appointments.

You may be right about that. But, like you, there's a reason I don't watch tv. The only supermodel that I recall really liking was Naomi Campbell. Even she was a little on the skinny side for me.
